Some hints that we're playing Bury.

Joe Bunney appears to spend about three weeks at every club he signs for, before mysteriously leaving in tight-lipped circumstances.

We’ve done 3 so far and had one PP due to the weather.

3-2 win away at Rochdale
4-0 win away at Sheffield Wed u23s
2-0 win away at Matlock

Got Bradford at home today which should be a good test

We beat Crawley 3-2 today

Look so much better going forward compared to last season and Effiong is a beast that can play (scored a great goal), but were exposed a bit defensively so areas for improvement

I know it’s pre season but that’s some result
It was a very decent performance too, our team is a tad ridiculous for the league we are in.

York fans having a meltdown on twitter! Which to be fair we have ex Premier League players in our team and some young players who have very bright futures, not to mention our on loan keeper who cost Liverpool over a million ..

Beat Bradford 3-0 in what was a very comfortable victory against a strong away side. Won’t take too much away with it being a PSF but we look good and wouldn’t have them down at joking favs in League Two based on this alone

Overall we've had loads of friendlies so far.

Longridge Town W 3-1
Alsager Town W 4-1
Crewe u23s W 2-1
Morecambe D 2-2
West Brom u23s W 2-0
Buxton W 4-0
Huddersfield u23s L 1-2

Still got Chorley, Blackpool, Wrexham and FCUM to go!

Then its Wythenshawe in the FA Cup before the league starts against Clitheroe on the 13th Aug.

Should be a really interesting league to follow that Macc are in next year with Hanley, Kidsgrove and Leek among others. Hanley in particular have a bit of money behind them but it’s not really sustainable for them to go much higher.

Nice to see JA keep up his tradition of losing every game to Macc regardless of who he manages.

My gut feeling is that we'll be miles ahead of the rest. Our team would probably win the league above too.. But it will be an interesting season.

Lost 4-0 away to Wrexham.. Just a massive difference in class.

One more friendly to go against fcum on Tuesday and then it's go time.
