I totally agree with you that on paper we have the best team in the Conference but players play on grass.
Also a new manager who will allow his players room to express themselves but hopefully that doesn't come back to bite him in backside.
Having said that I have plumped for FGR as champions next May.

Yes, new groundsman is in situ.
The pitch looks okay and the manager was asked about it at the fans forum and he seemed relaxed about it. Management have installed a new drainage system which should help ensure it is a lot better than last season.

We survived with 90% of our conference north squad, three or four additions and a few short term loans. Most have us down for relegation this season yet we are looking far stronger on the pitch at this stage than we were last pre season. Time will tell
