I wish, put a 1 in front of the 8 and it will be more realistic.

No chance Oldham are going down and no chance you lot are finishing in the playoffs.

Blimey, I just spat my melon out. If we come second I'll run around my garden naked.

I keep telling you Shrewsbury will be no where near the relegation zone this season.

Having just seen your squad list in another thread, I fail to see how you can say that with any certainty.

Luckily no one now thinks they are going down. So should be competitive season. Sadly 4 of us are wrong.

Current rate, no one even thinks they are going to be bottom half (other than Gills)

Mid-table mate.

Maybe.

Buggered if I know.

We aren't as shit as made out though.
Ive been very encouraged by our pre season, not saying were goin to do well but would like to think we have enough to keep clear of the bottm 4

We will be I believe just above relegation as we at not in turmoil and should be hopefully too organised at back to go down.

Southend seem very low at 14th, imagine they will be in and around the playoffs this year.

We are generally a shorter price than we should be - we have a lot of fans who lump on before the season starts, regardless of what division we are in or what state the club is in.

I'd have us in the 6th to 8th region personally. Most of our fans would be ecstatic with sneaking into the bottom play-off place but I'd say just below this is where I'd expect to be. This is looking like a tough league to me.

Considering that we were favourites for the L2 title for all 4 of the seasons we were in the division (two of which we ended up being nearly relegated), I'm not gonna read too much into that position.. anywhere from 5th to 15th is more accurate for us I'd say, it could go either way.

I think Portsmouth are one of the biggest unknown quantities, along with Rotherham for next season.

Portsmouth could easily be a top 6 team for most of the season, but could also float around mid-table. They have a pretty good squad, it's just how it matches up against the bigger teams in this league.

Same for Rotherham, reasonable squad, and I think a lot are writing them off after how poor their Championship season was - but Bolton were similarly poor in 15/16 and won promotion back straight away.
