Starting this thread nice and early. Our annual Gentry day this year with 4500 Nobbers making the short trip to the Macron. Garner picked up his 10th yellow last night so misses this one.

Going for a 2-0 PNE.

Rumours that Gallagher might be having his hernia operation this week? any news on that? Browne going to be fit?

Lindegaard
Woods, Clarke, Wright, Cunningham
Pearson, Welsh, Johnson
Reach, Doyle, Robinson
Wouldn't be against a 4-4-2 with Robinson and Reach down the sides either, nothing to play for now, might as well try and play more openly and attempt to be remotely entertaining.

That rumour came from some guy on PNE-Online who had only just made an account.... I can't see us willingly taking a player out of the season when we could still mathematically get relegated/make the playoffs.

Hughill upfront equals me being blind drunk by kick off.

How the Bolton stewards do the honourable thing and lob me out early so I can get a train back with no hassle.

Can't believe we're going to have to start Hugil or Doyle, devastated!

Can't see us scoring so hoping Grayson does what he does best and makes it a shit game. 0-0.

Heres hoping it's as good as the game at Deepdale

Hope Doyle bags a hat trick.
More likely Bolton making the play offs than that happening :bl:

First trip to Macron/Reebok, can't wait. Only other away game I've done this season was the dingles so I maybe a good omen :dk:

Pre-drinks in Chorley and a bollocks 0-0 draw with Bolton.

Tomorrow will be terrible.

A grand total of three games since then, cool stat.
Bugbear of mine that. When Sky or whoever come out with something like: "Bournemouth haven't won in the league against Man Utd since 1955". Yeah and Man Utd probably haven't beaten them since then either, it's meaningless.

Qualify it. Something like: "Bristol City haven't won at Molineux since 1921, a run of 22 games." Now that's a proper stat.

We were utter bollocks in the first half, abysmal.

Game turned on its head when Reach moved out wide in the second half though and we took our chances, Robinson was our man of the match by a mile, tore their right back to shreds. He bagged a goal and put in a shift but Hugill showed nothing to say he is worth keeping next season imo, no fan of Doyle but fair play, he looked sharp when he came on.

Solid away win.

Trains from Chorley were fucking carnage, police dropped an absolute bollock and they were lucky more people didn't kick off.

Fair result would have been a draw, Preston's second goal was offside, however, story of our season and why we deserve to go down. Prestons fans, pure class for the applause with us on 33 minutes

I don't think it was offside, i've watched it back and he's level with your centre back. There's a reason none of your players protested.

The goal that got disallowed was never offside so it evens out anyway.

Couldn't believe we started with a virtual back and Reach at fucking LB!! Dire first 45.

Second half was more like it, first gentry day win since 2005??

Game changing moment for me was Zac Clough missing that chance, Bolton couldn't match our fitness levels after that.

He was offside, look when the ball was hit by you player (no.2) and the guy (No.13) was offside when it hit his shin to go in

Just seen PNE's winner, why are most media people giving the goal to Vermijl when it clearly was Doyle's goal?

No idea, I've been quite confused by that too. It quite obviously came off Doyle, not even sure it was on target until it hit him.

It does look like his foot might just be ahead of the defender. Nobody appealed though. Plus the disallowed goal should have stood anyway.
