You began in 2002 when your fans abandoned Wimbledon FC. Thus, MK Dons take the history post 2002 I say.
Is that how history works? Alright, I say we take everything pre-2002 , you can have those shitty years. Doesn't take away from the fact that your club agreed you started in 2004.

MK Dons don't deserve to go up because they only took 1 point off us this season. Preston took 6 so they're the rightful 2nd place team. Swindon can win the play-offs because they took 4 off us.

We beat you last season...

We have lost the last two meetings, but in the 12 league games (I say league so that we can pretend the 7-0 FA Cup game never happened!) before that going back to the mid-90s we have won eight, drawn three and only lost one. Just feels like we usually do well against you, couple of decent away wins in there too with a 3-0 and a 4-2 etc.

Rochdale 0-12 MK Dons
Preston 0-0 Swindon

Mk to move into an automatic promotion place with a game to play.

Then..

Colchester 0-2 Preston
MK Dons 0-3 Yeovil

Preston up. Playoff final between Sheff Utd and Chesterfield.

MK Dons strike me as big game bottlers. Similar to our Danny Wilson side of the early 2000s. Reckon they will choke. And now that we are safely up, I can say that I would take lots of pleasure in seing them and Swindon blow it. :D

Really? We've done the double over both Swindon and Sheffield United, nearly beat Preston at Deepdale and gave you a very close game up here, I'd consider all of those games were 'big games' we didn't bottle. Only one I'd really say we bottled was Preston at home, but largely because we had the two most important players to how we play out injured, how would you have played in big games without Flint and Freeman? I think we've moved on from the perennial bottling of past seasons.

But we've beat you 3 times at your place, we couldn't even beat Leyton Orient at home :D

Luke_ciderhead, who wins your playoff final please?

Actually we were missing 3 of our key players - first choice goalkeeper, captain and best player.

I'd like to see any of the other teams try and beat an in form Preston under those circumstances.

nearly beat Preston at Deepdale

Drawing with someone isn't 'nearly beating them'.

There was only one team winning that game at Deepdale, we missed a bunch of sitters.

It just seems to me that whenever you have a great chance to put some real pressure on the top two, you've had a bad result. Was it Port Vale the other day where you had zero shots on target? And losing at Bradford from a winning position, in a game which (I think) would have put you top if you'd won. Just a feeling, if im wrong and you do it, then fair shout to you.

It's a bit harsh to call MK the biggest bottlers.
How many times have Preston been in the play offs and how many have they won?
I think when it comes to bottling big games they are as culpable as each other.
Bring on the battle of the bottlers!!

No one touches us when it comes to bottling.

Although we've done well in big games this year.

I'd think Franchise would be nailed on to win the POs if I'm honest.

Not wishing to piss on City's parade, but I reckon they are the most devastating team in the league.

Just hope their nemesis in the form of Chesterfield can knock them out

I think Chesterfield will pip them to 5th. Let MK handle Sheffield United in the play offs. Can see United finally rembering how to play footie again in a cup scenario and I want to avoid them in the semi's.

Bradford our goal was completely against the run of play, I wasn't really too surprised how it ended.

I'm sur
Toffolo in central midfield

As expected, utter horse shit.

I'm sure that as a Swindon fan, you can figure out the positions these players may be playing in. Only Byrne is the other wing back in that line up, are there others who play in that position bar Toffolo & Byrne?

Also, why the flying fuck would Your goalkeeper need a rest? Unless all that pissing about with the ball has taken its toll.

Barthram. Ricketts too at a push.

There is no way we will line up like that on Saturday.

With City, we generally have a very good idea of our lineup as it rarely changes that much.

What would you expect to see as a starting XI? Do you think it really is utter bullshit your team won't be heavily altered tomorrow, taking all circumstances into consideration? Genuine question.

I'd expect a similar sort of team to the one that played against Walsall on Tuesday night. Luongo is definitely being rested and we might see Hylton and Marshall (who both impressed off the bench in midweek) start but other than that I really can't see us having the squad depth to make many more changes.

I'll indulge you and guess at:

Foderingham

Ricketts
Thompson
Turnbull

Byrne
Gladwin
Stephens
Rodgers
Toffolo

Hylton
Obika

Why is it only Bristol City and MK Don fans who give a shit about Swindon's line up?

Their fans aren't assed and as far as we're concerned, they can play who they want.

I'd rather see them play their best XI, if you were in our position you'd feel the same..,

Swindon can play whoever they want, you beat whatever is front of you.

Rochdale will play Jamie Jones tomorrow so you have 3pts in the bag, i'm not going to stress over it.

I wouldn't rule rochdale out so easily, we have dropped points against far worse teams than them this season.
