Same team but with Pearson back in for Pringle.

In terms of registering three wins a row, this month gives us as good a chance as any.

Think I'd put Pearson back in for Pringle and Vermijl for Wright and put Baptiste back in the centre.

Looking forward to this, these shitty international breaks seem to get longer each time.

Not sure if i'd upset the defence after recent performances, Wright has a daft moment in him but he's been playing well.

Fair point about upsetting the defence, Clarke and Baptiste seem to have a good understanding though and Vermijl has a goal in him so would still change it if it were me.

Wouldn't really be against Vermijl coming in but Grayson doesn't usually mess with the backline unless it's forced or we switch to a wingback system.

A fully fit Beckford sitting on the bench is something I would never have anticipated before the season kicked off.

I don't let this match come by without mentioning Iain Anderson (convinced it was Iain and not Ian) and his series of goals at the Mol, although a quick look on youtube and I can't find them so maybe one of the Preston lot, my former brothers if people remember my loan move to being a Preston fan last year, will be able to help point us towards it?

No idea what to expect from us but am hopefully hopeful we can potentially turn a corner this month and get going, still convinced we have a good enough team for a playoff push.

I'm convinced there was a huge conspiracy to erase Iain Anderson's existence from the record books.

His disappearance was weird, he was quality in his first couple of seasons at Deepdale.

In fact his entire career was weird, we signed him from fucking Toulouse, how does a Glaswegian end up playing there?

Iain Anderson. Remember his worldie on sky at molineux. Top talent on his day.

We have been quality as of late and seem to be getting better by the game. But Wolves with a new manager will be tough.

Going for PNE 2-1. Either way I can't see us getting beat.

Boxing Day 2001, I was 7 but remember it well. I've asked a guy on Twitter if he has a clip of it, stay tuned.

Brilliant, my memory is hazy but I am convinced I was behind the goal he scored it in, so either north or south bank. I was also at boxing day in 2000 when he scored the winner. I remember that he was quite a decent player on one of the football manager/championship manager titles but forget which, possibly CM3.

Excellent! looking forward to seeing it now. I wonder what Iain does these days and if he has any idea what a cult figure he is on this forum!?

Think this game has 1-1 all over it, which also means 2 months without a win for us.

Please let Lonergan play, I wonder if he knows he's allowed out of the 6 yard box yet.

Think he will start, Ikeme has been injured for the last few weeks and didn't travel with the Nigeria squad in the recent internationals.

Not that I am a fan of his but didn't he make a couple of spectacular saves during the Derby game?

He's a class shot stopper but he's just a fucking abomination in every other area of goalkeeping.

Shit game that, especially in the first half, had three good chances to win the game after the break including Hugill's shocking miss with the second to last kick of the game.

Also looked like we had another blatant pentalty waved away.

Didn't test Lonergan with any set pieces which was annoying, Wolves were organised but they didn't have a sniff all afternoon, poor result.

Didn't concede in the first 15 minutes, and a welcome clean sheet which is a start I suppose. Got to start winning though.

Someone had put a stat up on our forum about how no full time Wolves manager since Graham Taylor has won their first game in charge, 1994 against Tranmere. That's so long ago that I would have been measuring my age by saying I am in Y8 if anyone asked!

Mark McGhee, Colin Lee, Dave, Jones, Glenn Hoddle, Super Mick, Solbakken, Unnamed Welsh idiot, Kenny J, Zenga and now Lambert for those interested.

Pleased with a point and a clean sheet although doesn't sound like we created anything, glad to see Price back in the team.
