Two teams in great form and North End were unfortunate in the fixture at Hillsborough to lose, we have slipped into 5th without much fanfare whilst North End are practically safe with 15 games to go so that is a definite positive.

We've sold 5,500 for the fixture and could have sold a few more but it is a fair allocation and expect a decent home turnout too.

This is my 7th trip to Deepdale and I've seen us win just once, on our last trip in December 2011, I was thrown out in the 2009/10 season for arguing with a steward, we are three unbeaten there strangely.

Prediction 1-1

It was a night game pal so unlikely.

Folks were smoking in the bogs so I asked the steward to open the end doors so people could go there rather than affecting everyone else. Steward took it wrong way, I went back to Sumners you went 2-0 before we levelled.

Very tough game this, they're bang in form, massive away following, some class firepower in Forestieri & Hooper, with the likes of Wallace and Bannan in midfield... I'd take a point right now.

I reckon we'll be unchanged and stick to this 5-3-1-1 system, it's negative but Grayson will be keen to not allow them any space and i've no problems with us setting up that way against top 6 sides. Only potential change I can see is maybe Ben Pearson coming back in for Browne or Johnson but I don't think either of them deserve to lose their place. Who knows, Grayson likes a surprise.

Obviously Vermijl is unavailable but he's been on the bench lately anyway, Clive Smith or Josh Heaton on the bench?

Lindegaard
Woods, Clarke, Huntington, Wright, Cunningham
Browne, Gallagher, Johnson
Reach
Garner

Kirkland, Welsh, Pearson, Kilkenny, Robinson, Doyle, Hugill

Can't see us getting anything from this at all. Stranger things have happened though.

At least I can have a trip into the city centre before hand to watch and laugh at the EDL.

I'd go for the same team as SF.

Sounds negative but playing Reach behind Garner is so much more dangerous than playing either Hugil or Doyle. And in Browne, Gally and DJ there is plenty of goals from midfield.

A fixture I looked out for at the beginning of the season as Wednesday always bring good support so the atmosphere should be cracking.

This really could go either way. 2-1 either way I can't call it.

Further incentive to drink outside of Preston pre-match, some of the pubs aren't even opening in the day due to the EDL march. Both Wetherspoons have confirmed so far, probably a couple more as well.

He should have ran down their corridor at 4am, booting all their doors.

Whispers that Beckford could be on the bench today, please yes.

Considering he's only just started running I doubt it.
