Championship games come thick and fast,to the relief of Cardiff City manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.Solskjaer is under pressure after Cardiff's 4-2 home loss to Norwich and if his side fail to beat Middlesbrough on Tuesday night,Solskjaer could very well,be getting one last phone call from Vincent Tan.
It was all going so well against a very well organised Norwich team, when the Bluebirds led 2-0 in the first 22 minutes of Saturday's match but things soon got frosty, when Norwich scored 4 second half goals to win 4-2 in the Welsh Capital.Cardiff sit in their lowest position for 3 years, lying in 15th place with only 8 points from 6 games. Not the start many Cardiff fans had in mind. This season,Cardiff have only won 2 games,in which both came at home in early August to fellow struggles,Wigan and Huddersfield. They've also drew 2,away to Blackburn and Fulham and also lost 2,most recently to Norwich and Wolves last month. Some fans are calling for Ole's head and rightly so as he has only won 8 games in all competitions since being appointed in January, early this year.Cardiff really need to get going otherwise this season could quickly turn into a miserable one.
All eyes will be on Solskjaer and his men on Tuesday night which may well suit Karanka's Middlesbrough team who will make the long journey down from Teesside. They come to South Wales having won their last game away to Chris Powell's Huddersfield 2-1.Two goals from midfielder Grant Leadbitter, from the penalty spot and a delightful free kick gave Boro the win.Middlesbrough sit in 11th place, having got 9 points from 6 games.M'boro have beat Birmingham,Bolton and Huddersfield. They've drew none and lost 2,coming against Leeds and early surprise package,Sheffield Wednesday.
Craig Noone looks set to return to the Cardiff City starting 11 and he may well be joined by new signing Manga from FC Lorient for a reported £5 million.Adam Le Fondre looks set to re-claim his position up top with Kenwyne Jones. The game may come to quick for Fabio who came off injured in Cardiff's 4-2 defeat to Norwich on the weekend,so that may mean Connolly will shift to left back for the visit of Boro. For Middlesbrough there is no new injury concerns and Karanka looks as if he'll go with the same 11,which beat Huddersfield on the weekend.Probable starting lineups:

Cardiff City:Marshall,Connolly,Manga,Morrison,Brayford,Adeyemi,Whitts,Ralls,Noone,Jones,Le Fondre.

Middlesbrough:Konstantopoulos,Damia,Gibson,Ayala,Friend,Adomah,Clayton,Leadbitter,Reach,Tomlin,Kike.

Ole is under pressure and I think despite there recent poor form,Cardiff will have to much quality for Middlesbrough and will just scrape this 2-1.But if things go horribly wrong again for Solskjaer,he may be on his way out of Cardiff City.
