They make nice mementos to look back on, especially for big games, but I don't really see the point in buying them for a run of the mill game.

I always found it amazing how much you could write on such a low-key event. I bought some when I was London but that quickly stopped.

I have boxes and boxes of them in storage, but haven't bought one for a few years now.

Why keep them ? are they worth anything i had hundreds myself and just binned them.

No idea. Some of them have sentimental value but you're right, most of them are relatively non-descript.

A single unitary authority for urban Dorset
In a loft somewhere I've got a box of programmes from the 70s and 80s before I was born courtesy of my old man. I find those quite interesting to flick through now and again when I stumble over them. But otherwise - no.

Read whatever bollocks the chairman can spout this week?
See a few pictures of the last game, which I probably went to anyway?
Read up about which hospital ward, school or supermarket 'Cherry Bear' has visited this week?

Nah thanks. Would rather spend the £3.50 on a pint.
