Hopefully, Aaron Bolger will be making a name for himself with Cardiff City this season.

Did okay against Taffs Well last night, playing 45 minutes.

Was hoping that Sion Spence would have played as well - a very good goalscoring midfielder but wasn't in the squad. Spence looks like a promising player as well.

We’ve got a 17 year old called Joe Gelhardt who is apparently one of the best players in the country at his age (aren’t they all). He plays up front for England with that Greenwood kid whose been on the bench for Man Utd. Came on against Birmingham last season and looked good. We signed him up to a professional contract because all the big north west clubs wanted him so I’d be disappointed if he doesn’t make it. Not had an academy player star for the first team since McManaman.

First senior goal for the kid at the weekend in his second league appearance this season. Here’s hoping he kicks on.

We’ve got some really good lads coming through the U18’s & U23’s at the moment, and a few are getting in and around the first team now too. From what I’ve seen I’m expecting a couple of strikers to come through in the next couple of seasons. From the U18’s Aiden Marsh a 15 year old, from the U23’s 19 year old Elliot Simoes made his first team debut last Saturday as a substitute, if they train on they’ll be quality players.
