The mighty Rams!!!
They were very average against us, created two goal scoring chances in the whole game despite the fact we were playing with 10 men for a majority of the game. That result might have been what kickstarted their form.

Best teams to play us this season are probably Burnley, Leeds and Birmingham in that order.

We were dreadful again you when we beat you. But it showed the importance of keeping it tight if you playing shit And wait for a moment of quality. To be honest, we've picked up massively the last three games and hitting some really good form. We look a different team now the players are settling and we've got midfield options. Amazing what competition for places does.

You've got us next pal, your record at ours is, well, wank.
Yep, never won there in our history I don't think. Then again it's been a season for ending various hoodoos.

Yeh I ain't relishing it. Would take a point right now if I could (as it feels like I've been saying every week). Na, 500 tops. Back to the hardcore after all the daytrippers were out for Reading yesterday.

Inconsistent with the run we're on, and only 1 defeat to our name so far.

Brighton, Burnley, Derby and Birmingham have played 4 of the current top 10.
Hull and MIddlesbrough 5.

Reading have played 7 of the top 10 now (8 of the top 11), in our first 14 games. Hopefully this means we should have some easier games and keep up with those above us, especially as they have to play each other and so will take points off one another.

Though obviously we're only 14 games in so the league table is still taking shape.

Hull and Burnley to go up IMO. Derby, Brighton, Boro, Reading to go into the play-offs, with Boro going up with a final win vs Derby.

Would count us out of this. Getting a lot of luck at the moment, built into some good work and we are definitely improving, but nowhere near the required level yet.

Once the injured players are back over the next couple of months, and an addition or two in January, let's see, but I would think the play offs will be just a step too far.

Personally hoping for a Top 10 finish, a little more investment in the summer (hopefully keeping our key players this time...) and push on next season. Got to get the managerial appointment right this time though.

I think Hull will win the league, Middlesbrough second. Playoffs are a complete mystery as usual.

We will go up, Jackett will be nominated for manager of the year and Kourtney Hause will get an England call up...

Getting tight at the top: three teams on 31 points and another two on 30.

Second season running its looking like a competitive race for top spot between 4+ teams.

Hull and Burnley aren't giving anybody an inch as far as complacency goes.

Top 5 all have more points than league leaders at this stage last season had.

Watford on 29 points after 15 games. With a two point lead to 2nd.

It may be a marathon but the top 5 have set off at a decent pace!

Hull are gonna win the league and I should know: I look out for their results every time they play! Even in the cups!

Derby are inconsistent.

The charge continues. Just what will be higher at the end of the season? Leeds United or Big Steve's blood pressure?

I just don´t get your logic. Derby have lost the same amount of games as Hull. Yesterday was disappointing but in the cold light of day it was a narrow 1v0 defeat away from home. We have taken 25 out of the last 30 points on offer, that is pretty consistent in my book.

I was predicting who was going to go up and worded my thoughts wrongly as I meant Derby will be too inconsistent to make the top 2. Lots of posters remembered me of Derby's superb form up until Friday evening. What I just wrote is just a pisstake.

Hull to win the league doesn't seem so far-fetched though.

Derby are a good team but, consistent with the last few seasons, they aren't up for it enough in pressure situations. It's why they folded against QPR, have lost to us when we are in disarray and fell away last season. Hull, Boro and Burnley to go up.

I think that's a bit too early to predict. The purchase of Johnson and shackall means we have players who have done it under pressure cooker situations.

If we don't get promoted this season it'll be because there are other teams better than us.

FWIW we are still just 4 points off top.

Last season's finish was the only time I've felt we have bottled it whilst the majority of this squad has been together. QPR was a one-off, a joyous bit of luck in the final seconds for them - we played well that day.
We were under pressure 6 games in with 5 draws and one loss to our name, people still banging on about last seasons hangover and how we had won twice in 4 months/18 games. Then we went 10 unbeaten.

Genuinely interested to see the reaction after Fridays loss, it's all about putting that run together at the business end of the season though, if you can keep in touch for the majority of the year, which I think we will do. Whether it's enough to beat other teams - who knows, there's another decent, competitive season ahead regardless.
