Cant believe those results today. Even if we lose tomorrow it will be another game closer to the end with our top six spot intact.

Massive win for us today coming off of 2 disappointing results/performances. Feared the worst when it went to 2-1 but a decent comeback from us. Looks like we were a little bit lucky though, was a couple of good scrambles in the 6 yard box that they could easily of scored from. Keeps us within distance of Cardiff in 2nd though, so all good at the moment. Need them to slip up now.

Watched the Fulham v Wolves game and thought Wolves were the more threatening team until Fulham went 1-0 up. After that thought Fulham bossed the game and could have won by more in the end. The way Fulham are playing at the moment has to make them one of the favourites for that 2nd spot.

I was hoping we'd sneak 6th place but at this rate it's looking unlikely. We're still just 4 points off the play offs and with about 12 games left to play there's a lot of points to be won and lost, but we need to get our arses in gear.

We went on two separate unbeaten runs this season that were the longest in the division. Need that consistency back if we're to put a late surge in.

people will take about us having a blip and then we will have another winning run.

I was thinking that too. Thought we were played off the park yesterday. Poor all round and lucky not to lose by 4 or 5.

Ruddy was woeful and Saiss, Costa and Bonatini were poor value. Cavaleiro lucky not to be booked and Douglas extremely lucky not to be sent off.

Wonder how it would have turned out if the goal had been 300' wide and 75' tall for Jota's miss.

I suppose that Cardiff goal keeps the dream alive for us. The incentive of a (fairly unlikely) play-off spot keeps us on track to pick up as many points as possible. Personally, I’m aiming for 68, which would take us past Jackett’s total of 67 which saw us finish 9th in 2011. Six wins and two draws from our remaining games seems achievable.

That was without doubt the worst game of football I've ever watched. We won't finish higher than tenth.

I agree but the teams below us aren't exactly pulling up any trees at the moment, and we do have some winnable March fixtures. It's not beyond the realms of possibility that we could find some form again.

apart from the top 4 the standard in this league is terrible, Leeds literally won their first game in 1 and a half months yesterday and are still only 6 points from the playoffs

shocking

Good result for us today. As of yesterday, 2nd is gone for us now so it's all about staying in the top six...

...which given our newfound inability to defend/implosion time of year yet again, has to be a major doubt.

We're coming for the title....

It would be bad for football if Warnock managed a title win against the huge spending of the rivals for promotion. As he would never let that go or shut up about it.

A weird week or so really. Last Sunday you’d have said season over for Leeds/Millwall/Us/Norwich but wins for three of us and all bar one team losing above, it’s back down to 6 points. I’m not saying we’re good enough to do it but it’s opened up again

Highlights how wide open the league is barring Wolves, Cardiff and probably Fulham.

I would still say our chances are non-existant though, we haven't once shown the form this season to surmount the points gap we currently face to 6th. We would have to put a run together like that which we haven't seen for the past 1 and 2/3 seasons; with a threadbare squad, too.

I agree I don’t think we’ll do it but like you say, it does just show how open the league is

Hoofball doesn't win titles mate.
If it results in 3 points every game I think you'll find it could well do...

We were skint until Januray, then it seems like uncle Vinnie found a few coppers down the sofa! Shame we spent it on a carthorse!
My post was tongue in cheek anyway, I still don't think we'll make the play offs.

Brilliant response from the boys exactly what wilder demanded from them with his comments on Friday. 6th spot 12 games to go game on. Utb

Can’t wait for Fulham to thrash us on Saturday.

Maybe it’ll be snowed off. That’d be nice.

I actually think Cardiff will go to wolves and beat them. Honestly dont think they will be able to put up with a pumped up warnock team who will be booting them off the field.

We'll need a strong referee for it, not like the clown who officiated the reverse fixture.
