Felt a big day for us that. Despite a run of 1 loss in 15 it’s took until now to break into it and now up to fourth and seemingly flying.

10 points from Mansfield, Bradford, Exeter and Sutton in the space of 11 days is a remarkable effort.

Got to target trying to get back in the automatics now, had we not had the bad luck we’ve had with injuries we’d have probably been comfortable now but I’m very excited at the moment at our hopes.

Key factor is players coming into form who had looked to have been flops early season such as Benning, Martin and Stone and the emergence of Charsley who has been a great signing.

Having seen Sutton today, I'd be amazed if they got a playoff spot. Football wise we were miles ahead of them but their tactic is to turn it into a scrap, win cheap free kicks and load balls into the box. Like pub team tactics.

They really struggled to play any football on our big pitch and once we were 2 up there was only one winner. We got wise to it second half and saw the game out with ease really....and they were a place above us before kickoff!

The fact we’ve jumped up to fourth for now at least does highlight how if it comes down to GD then that is massively in our favour at the moment. In as close a league as this you have to imagine that will be a factor.

Looks like I’ll be going to Mansfield next week now after today’s result

All of a sudden a little gap has appeared between us and 4th, although Mansfield have a couple in hand on us, which will potentially change things. Our +20 goal difference could also be very crucial.

I think another 4 wins would do it for us but I still can’t bring myself to really believe. Still got to go to Newport, Tranmere and Northampton along with an inform Carlisle. Home games look slightly better on paper but they can be the tricky ones.

One thing I will say is that we have only lost 6 all season which is some effort and if we can just keep that consistency going, we should be fine but still a long way to go.
