Big goal for Grimsby, that. Lose and I think it'd have been PO's given that they would have been four points off and relying on Barnet to lose two of their final 4 (taking inferior GD into account, too).

Yeah at least now we can still go above them if they draw 2, whereas if we lost we would need them to lose 1 and draw 1. Either way its still a big ask as it was before really hopefully thats the only points we drop now, the late late goal should have hopefully felt Like a winner for the players and more Momentum to build on.

Our season was over a couple of weeks ago when we lost to Nuneaton then Dover and Eastleigh so your point today was more important to you than to us. Even you have to admit that a fair few on the Fishy were getting ahead of themselves last week.
Plenty of football left for any one of the top 3 to win it. We now know 3 wins beats Grimsby but to top the table then Bristol need another slip as we don't look likely to win all 4. Current form suggests we will finish on 90 points.

Barnet constantly mocked for low attendances, patting each other on the back for taking 2k+ fans away for their next matches etc? lost count of the number of comments saying 'Who do you think will go up?' 'Hopefully Rovers with Grimsby to follow, proper football clubs' etc. Really puts a right positive spin on their clubs, some of those chumps on there.

Don't know why that's so hard to believe. The reason have been explained to rival fans on numerous occasions already this season. It's not a big deal, it's just a very simple and idiotic way for fans of big old Grimsby and Bristol Rovers to knock us with.

We're where we are on merit, same as Rovers and Grimsby. We're all in the same division and currently, the table says we're better than both. That's what's important in reality, not the size or standard of your ground, the noise of your fans etc. It's a shame your clubs aren't taking us as lightly as your fans have been.

He might have been shown a yellow card more than 7 times, but he's only on 7 yellows. His Wrexham yellow doesn't count towards the 10 yellow, 2 match suspension.

And yet I've seen very little of that nature on our forum, if I have it's probably the same idiots giving it large on FB pages. Anyway, it hardly appears on TFF so let's just be happy about that.

Obviously I have vested interests here () but think the rules have to be changed on that at some point. People will say it's double punishment but technically two yellows leads to a red = three cards. The one-match suspension should be punishment for the red, and the yellows should still count in the long run. Otherwise you could get in a situation whereby a player picks up a 10th booking in a game and gets themselves sent off in order to half their suspension!

And I mean that in a general sense, not just re: Akinde obviously.

And most Grimsby fans are over the moon we had pretty much plugged a 15 point gap as of last week. If you don't expect fans to get excited over that then you're deluded.
