Agree with Scholes, that was an encouraging performance but unfortunately the usually faultless Darmien had a bad night.

Bar the goal, which was well taken and Smalling's effort United didn't test the keeper all night. Can't recall a single bit of quality by Blind or Young and Mata was poor.

Thought Smalling had a good game at the back and really feel for Shaw. That looked nasty, hope he isn't out for too long.

It's a long road back from an injury like that. It took Ramsey a good 2-3 years and a lot of patience. Thankfully he has time on his side but it's a shame since he was looking very good this season.

Looks like a clean snap of both tibia and fibia. Wish him the best

Hard to be bothered about the match what with the Luke Shaw injury, devastated. It really looked like this was going to be a great season for him, looked so much quicker and stronger. We'll miss a lot while he's out. Just got to hope his recovery goes well.

On the match, I didn't think we played too badly but ultimately we didn't do enough and you have to say Darmian had an off night. The most disappointing thing for me was the lack of attacking options from the bench. Surely we could've done without McNair or Valencia for Wilson who's quick and sharp in the box. Mata didn't do enough, I've said it before but he goes missing too much, he's prone to moments of pure class so he gets away with it but even his passing was poor tonight. And I would've expected him to have done better when Schweinsteiger brilliant pass put him in. Still expect us to get out of the group but what a shit night.

Honestly that injury would've put off the united players. I remember what Eduardo and Rambo did to the team on the day.

Such a Shame for Shaw he's had a great start to the season. Still not sure how that wasn't a penalty. Shocking referring in that instance

The results of the Premier League Clubs have to improve very soon. they are now 8 wins ( or 2.0 points) behind of the Bundesliga (with a team less and furthermore the dividend is 8 instead of 7 for the Bundesliga)

Also they are only 0.2 points ahead of the Serie A atm with one more team in Europe but already lost two while the Serie A lost only one team until now (dividend is 8 vs 6)

how much is a win worth for each Nation

England: for a win you get 2 points, divided by 8 (teams started) = 0.25 points for a win
Germany: 2:7 = 0.285
Italy : 2:6 = 0.333

very likely that the EPL will send only 2-3 teams in the Championsleague from season 17/18 onwards.

Well it shouldn't. When i used to play for my local side when i was 12 a lad on my team snapped his leg in a tackle. After he'd been treated we all insisted we played on....eventually winning the game. We're talking about full time professionals in this case....If an injury causes them to not play as well they shouldn't be playing the game full stop.

It was a horror injury....he'll recover though....whether he'll be as good is another thing.

PSV brought a smart tatics to put upon United's errors at second half and that gave them the victory.

But it was really a pity to Shaw. He was having a good season. And the lance was totally bad covered by the referee, it should be a red card to Moreno in my opinion but not even a foul was given.

Forgot how good Memphis' goal was last night. He's started off slowly in the PL but he's still very young, he's going to be some player.

Yeah, him and Martial (who also had a decent game) are building good chemistry, showed good link up play. Quite looking forward seeing both of them get on, pottentially special players.
