When you guys played at Salford did you get an initial allocation and then the rest when they had sold out or all the tickets at once as they have send us a completely inadequate 786 tickets for the game of New Years Day. Maybe is this Covid releated or they don`t want to be out numbered at home again but it would be interested to find out as we will have a lot of disappointed fans if thats all we are going to get.

We requested the full allocation and that’s exactly what they had sent.

Could responsibility fall at your clubs feet? Is it possible that the full allocation hasn’t been requested for whatever reason?

Salford have just released more tickets to us, but we do exactly the same. It depends on how stewarding is spread around the ground I think, and crucially at what point the club would have to increase the number of stewards for the game. Maybe for other clubs the number of away fans you can accommodate before you need to change the number of stewards is different.

The noises coming out of the club is this is an initial allocation with more to follow next week. It`s more than likely it`s a case of "if you want more you have to paid up front for them" and Rovers have always been a bit tight fisted in when that is the case. I don`t believe for a minute we won`t sell out of tickets for this game. We took more to Rochdale and Vale than the the maximum allocation at Salford.
