I have said it before and will say it again, Gannon and County just click and he is the right fit for them like Coleman at Stanley and Hill at Dale (and to a lesser extent me at Leeds and Sheffield United). However Gannon's record elsewhere is poor. I do not doubt that he is doing well to turn things around at County this season and on two other occasions. However the fact he is in the conference north managing suggests he is not exactly highly rated as a league manager.
