The best quote I can offer about Croydon, partly in response to the comparison with Prague, was from a man who phoned in to R5 from there, his view was:

"If England was a human, Croydon would be the A***hole!"

Suffice it to say I don't think he liked living there!

I have a certain affection for the place, but I wouldn't like to live there anymore. It isn't the same town I moved into in 1990.
