Bury 1-0 Exeter FA Cup round one 2012
This one straight out of the King Kev masterclass handbook. My garbage Bury side (plus a few good loan signings made by me) faced a strong league 2 Exeter side who were bang in form (they may have gone into the game with 15 straight victories). Anyway the team started badly and I spurred the home fans on from the dugout and they responded and roared the team on. We went down to ten men and still dominated the game, Efe Sodje scored and the crowd went wild. Sodje then stupidly got himself sent off but we held out and won and instantly one could see it was the type of game we would have lost when I first took over.

Crewe 1-2 Bury December 1994
Didn't attend as I was to young to attend away games but knew it would be tough. We had been top of league 2 but had slipped away after having games called off and dropping points as we lost our strikeforce to injury. Crewe were near the top of division 2 so by the logic of a 7 year old we faced the near impossible task of trying to match them let alone beat them. Went to the school christmas fair returned home had lunch and then put grandstand on. Watched horse racing footage and slogged it out until Grandstand switched to the half time scores.... Crewe 1-0 Bury. It was what I expected but atleast we weren't humiliating ourselves.
Back to the horse racing, bored to tears and then 16:30 over to the vidiprinter, Crewe 1-1 Bury, we had equalised. How could a club who in recent weeks had struggled to score goals, then be drawing with a team in the division above. Followed the vidiprinter as more scores rolled across the screen then at around 16:50 the vidiprinter flashes ......Crewe 1...........Bury 2 (Tony Rigby 90). Oh what a moment, me and my brother cheered wildly, what a result. It later transpired we had no fit strikers that day. Footage from the old Bury video and the away end looks mental with Rigby scoring at the death and diving into the crowd. Fell in love with the FA Cup that day.

Accrington 0 Fleetwood 2

Loads of battling on terraces. Match had to be stopped for about 15 minutes for the police to arrest quite a few people.

Atherstone 3 Fleetwood 1
1st round proper 17th November 1990
One of our fans got arrested and there was a crowd surge to save him but our dug out collapsed on top of our manager and subs. The lad got away.
