First game with McDermott back in charge. Hopefully we can build on Wednesday night's performance. No idea who is going to play at the back due to our injury's. Blackburn unbeaten since Lambert took over and the last time we beat Rovers was 1986 although we havn't played them too many times down the years.

HertsWolf has this game got to be another DVD job? Or are you going to be in attendance?

I don't mind buying him a ticket. I'm sure he is desperate to be at the game.

Given how much he loves our club song i'm surprised he hasn't been down to every home game to really hear it in the right surroundings.

And let's keep the music theme going as the thread started this way so another one for Brian..

I was supposed to be going up to this today, but I had one too many ales last night and my missus is currently taking the mick out of me for being a wet rag.

So someone will have to boo Danny Guthrie for me.

We only score good goals.

But that was so important. And our first clean sheet in forever too!

That was the McDermott way. Soak up pressure and grabbing an early goal. Some very good football especially in the second half. Quinn was magnificant at left back. John did more in his brief sub appearance than McCleary did the entire time he was on. Playing Piazon behind the striker in the second half worked well in the second half.
