I know there aren't many clubs in this division nowadays that haven't been in the Prem and haven't had the cash to spend big but we're just about (supposedly) to absolutely shatter our record fee paid and wondered what the comparison is?
Our current record is £2.1M but we're supposedly absolutely smashing that to £5.25M and that's a HUGE fee for us.
How does that compare with clubs when they were OUTSIDE the Premier league?
I am genuinely blown away that little Bristol City can do this, really gobsmacked! Maybe the corporate stuff in the new place / bigger crowds has increased our turnover to the extent that we can now do this sort of thing, I genuinely have no idea?
