Nope, just the one. We were never giving him a two year one with his injury record prior to joining us.

Imagine how stupid you'd have to be to give Hearn a two-year deal.

It just shows with the yo yo nature of the Hearn movements since he first joined us what you are getting. Lincoln-Barrow-Lincoln-Harrogate-Lincoln-Ilkeston? I think that's correct.

It is a shame because there is a great goalscorer in there, but he does have some serious issues that I don't see going away.

I'd also be happy with Williams and Ashley Chambers.

Pipe is a horrible thug and I wouldn't want him anywhere near my club.
FGR must be getting short of TOP LADS after letting Pipe go.

Yeah, that's why i thought he had proper shit on you with his behaviour (which he still has of course) as i thought i read somewhere that you had given him 2 years, i thought it was a bit crazy at the time to offer him that!

Is that inside scoop, or just that same rumour off The Fishy? Also, wrong forum. ;)
I heard last week that Nolan had let slip to someone out on the piss that he was signing for someone in League 1 so sounds right unfortunately.

Hearn has gone from apparently signing a double your money deal at Barrow at xmas to signing for Ilkeston!

On the rest of retained list don't be too surprised if a few of ours leave if they don't stick to their pre-hab/fitness programmes the new management team give them that have to stick to.

Bit surprised about Clay getting released (decent signing there for any conference clubs), and I reckon a few of those we've offered deals to will leave for more money / higher placed clubs - Amond, Nsiala and McKeown the most likely to be snapped up.

Clay would be great for us - he played a handful of games on loan here years ago, but can't really remember him. Looked solid in every game he's played against us since.

He was never going to sign a contract while we were still in the Conference anyway, we still don't think he'd sign one now!

Unless we did an Eastleigh and give him guaranteed extortionate wages before the season ended, it wouldn't have suited either party for him to sign.

Clay is with Jake Speight's Fifteen Eleven who Gary Mills seems to have some kind of multibuy deal with this transfer window.

Could be on.

Update on our release list. All the ones offered deals to are around the 18-20 age. I don't think they'd have kept Bush or Stanley through choice, tbh.

This gives us a squad of 16 already.

"The players offered re-engagement terms for the upcoming season have all accepted their new deals.

One of new manager Danny Cowley’s first tasks as Imps’ boss was to confirm the retained list for season 2016/17 with Kegan Everington, Elliot Hodge, Callum Howe, Alex Simmons and Andy Wright all offered new contracts.

In addition to those named above, Chris Bush, Jack Muldoon and Craig Stanley all triggered an option for new terms for the 2016/17 campaign and all eight players have now accepted the terms offered to them, meaning they’re contracted to the Club for a further year.

Of the seven players out of contract who were not offered re-engagement terms, Conner Robinson and Greg Tempest were invited in for pre-season training but both players have decided to further their careers elsewhere. We wish them, along with the other players who left the Club following the conclusion of last season, every success for the future

Not announced by the club officially but going by the squad on our website...well...

Weve got rid of everyone bar 6 of the players (I may be wrong but Benyon and Worsfold file were offered a stay but haven't)

Complete rebuilding of the squad again, but optimistic our new manager, Mickey Lewis, can put something decent together, especially now/if we're home the budget may well begin to increase a bit if we're lucky!

Still wonder why he's kept so many of the defenders from last season after they were shown up so often. I know he likes to keep the majority of the players he inherits but some of our lot, bloody hell they were terrible!!!

Tbf, only one was his choice (Howe). The others were either signed up or had appearance clauses that were triggered.

I know just thought he might have transferred listed a couple of them, Beevers at least.
A lot of them have a lot to prove imho.

True. I imagine a couple will be in late July/early August as pre-season draws to a close.
