Eoin Doyle bagging an 85th minute winner against shitpool was probably the only footballing highlight of the Easter weekend.

Gillingham are in no danger whatsoever, 7 points clear and everyone from Walsall down are utter tripe.

I would tend to agree. We've had a poor few games bar Pompey of late, but we still should be fine. Holiday mode seems to have been engaged at Priestfield a little early this year, but I still think we'll win another couple.

Oxford upwards are safe imo, doubt it will take 50 points this year to stay up, maybe 47-48.

Crap at the start of the season, Crap at the end of the season. Exceptional in the middle of the season (Lovell even won the dreaded MOM). We really are the opposite of a shit sandwich.

The maximum amount of points we can now get is 48... we are pretty much confirmed relegated now.

Has anyone worked out what points you need to be mathematically safe? Tricky with so many teams playing each other.

I think it's something like 58 points where you literally can't go down, but I'm not sure (can't be arsed to work it out again either)

I don't bother considering who plays who and what people can get. I look at the points on the board and how far in front of 4th from bottom we are.

I' not arsed about the other 3 teams down there either. It's all about that 4th from bottom. If we can' beat that we are down. Simply really.

If we'd won today I think we could have done it. We nearly did as well. Few questionable decisions and Lyle Taylor being fucking awful meant it wasn't to be.

Huge, huge win for us. We couldn't score ourselves so Bury had to do it for us, but we'll take it!

Two poor teams in our game today. Could have had 2 penalties on another day (one absolute stonewall) just as we could have been down to 10 men.

Decent point away from home though and amazingly that was one of, if not, our most difficult game left of the season on paper such is our run in.

Worry for us is now having our two centre backs out injured. The two young lads did very well today but wouldn’t want to rely on them for the rest of the season.

Big game vs Walsall mid week.

Two expected losses for us against Blackburn and Wigan, but yesterday could be make or break. We still have a tough run in but some winnable games are dotted around in there and we need to bounce back from yesterday straight away if we want a chance

Maximum points Bury can now get is 45. So we could be officially relegated in midweek I think.

Just to put into context how poor this season has been:

- 25 defeats in 41 league games, one more defeat to break our all time record of most defeats in a season.

- We require 11 points from our remaining 5 games otherwise we will record our lowest ever points tally since it became 3 points for a win.

- Lowest goalscorers in the entire FL with 32 goals in 41 games.

- Currently on the lowest points tally of any club in the FL.

- Potential to be the first side relegated in the top 4 divisons.

- Out of every cup competition by round 1, including a 0-3 home defeat to Woking in the FA Cup.

Our Twitter account is doing a lot of tub thumping now we've sacked JFH to try and get the fans on side and create some belief. We need to beat Blackpool tomorrow to create any chance at all, and then we go off to Bury on Saturday. 6 points and who knows?

I reckon if you hadn't appointed JFH when you did, and instead appointed him this summer your fans would be delighted. It was JED who fucked your season up in reality.

Edinburgh really was a disaster for us but Jimmy got himself a near full new team in January. It soon became obvious that he didn`t know what the fuck he was doing either

Take heart in the fact that you're at least already better than Rotherham were last season

Mate, there are obvious limitations on what you can do in January. The problem you had was letting JED build a squad in the summer.

It'll happen now at Orient given they're safe now.

A terrific rearguard action and old boy Conor popping up to score a late late winner, John Sheridan has done a superb job and (almost) guaranteed us league 1 football for next season
