Ah crap didnt mean seats, just meant capacity.

I can't see the reason for this requirement tho, considering Ferriby will only top 1000 potentially 3 times this season (Lincoln, York and Tranmere).

Whats the point in mandatory capacity raising when its not going to be more than a quarter full. Only 6 clubs in this divison average over 2000, it just seems like an unnecessary financial burden on a club for no reason.

A minimum number of turnstiles (6? Not sure). Dressing rooms a minimum size. Safety barriers on terracing. Lots of criteria to meet.

I can't see where Ferriby will find space for another 1,300 seats or the funds for the other upgrades. I notice Maidstone are in the process of doing their stadium up but I dont know if Solihull are doing the same.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that Solihull is who bought the stand we're replacing

Back to the cold, hard, grim reality of a season-long relegation battle for us.

But Stockport grew into being shit/incompetent enough over a couple of years. Going straight through the league, especially with parachute payments, is unthinkably shit.
Absolutely ...... even the maestro Neil Young and the demiGod Gannon can do nothing to halt or reverse their decline.

You're correct. Good stand?
Yeah it's a good stand. Spans most of the width of a pitch and has full cover from the weather. Depth wise it isn't the biggest, but there's still room for at least going one-per-step deep if needs be, reckon it holds 300-400, maybe a little more but only when packed snug at the big attendance matches.

16. Solihull (4-4 away at dagenham) 27
17. Torquay (0-0 away at york) 26
18. Maidstone (1-2 home to NFU) 25
19. Woking (0-0 home to guiseley) 24
20. Southport (4-3 home to eastleigh) 24
21. Braintree (1-1 away at Gateshead) 21
22. NFU (2-1 away at Maidstone) 21
23. Guiseley(0-0 away at Woking) 19
24. York (0-0 home to torquay) 18

Big games coming up for Ferriby vs York. 2 wins (I can dream) and that would drag Ferriby closer to Wrexham and Sutton. Getting into the new year either outside the bottom 4 level on points with those just outside will set up a very exciting 2nd half of the season.

If York dont beat Ferriby home and away over the holidays then I think they are down. Guiseley are abit of a weird one. Seem to play quite well but just not picking up the points.

We're very much in this if we don't pick up a good amount of points from the Southport double header and Woking, followed by Chester away who I'm sure will be delighted to put us firmer in the shite.

It'd be Gary Mills greatest accomplishment if he manages to take two Clubs down in a season.

Off the pitch we seem to be in a spot of turmoil. Since Jed Mccrory has joined the board, numerous long serving players have departed and have been replaced by Evo Stik players. Our new signings did look good today, but not sure how much this is down to Dagenham's poor defending.

Awful set of results for us today with Torquay, Braintree and Solihull all winning.

We have to cash in on our game in hand over Maidstone, Guiseley, York and North Ferriby.

I fear that loss to York is going to stick with the players. Could have potentially been level on points with the teams outside the drop zone for new years but instead find ourselves bottom.

Going to take a miracle to pick up, im willing to bet that the York away fixture could end up 4/5 nil. Plenty of games left to play but we realistically needed 6 points from York to make it possible.

I reckon it's reached the point where you can safely say that any team that finds form for a few games will stay up. I mean if you look at us and Bromley:
We've been in poor form from the start of October, maybe even longer, and the cushion we have has only dropped from 9 points to 2 in all that time.
After losing to Woking only a few weeks ago Bromley were in real danger, but now they're up to 9th and pretty much safe.
String together an okay run and you're staying up, simple as that.

Would be interesting if NFU, Guiseley, York and Southport got relegated. The make up of the conference North makes it more attractive than the conference premier in terms of gate sizes

Have to say it's very interesting when you break down our form in the league:

Against sides not in relegation battle - P13 W4 D1 L8 Pts13
Against sides in relegation battle* - P13 W3 D4 L6 Pts13

* Bromley included as still in relegation battle when 2nd match was played, though now pretty much safe

So basically we're toss either way? :D Really though, we're not getting anywhere near enough points against fellow strugglers.

Whats happened maidstone looked a good side at our place
Combination of things, Alex Flisher's loss of form, Lee Worgan not being as solid as he was, our central midfield turning into a black hole, getting "found out" among others. We have some useful pieces, but also a lot of old dross. Dawes didn't do a good job of recruiting over the summer and it's showing.

All of the above, plus seemingly being better when our opponents are good, considering we've had a lot of games where our opponents have been bad, but we've been worse (for examples please see Woking, Bromley, Guiseley etc)

Are Wrexham in this? I mean, they're just above that line you'd consider a team to be in one and I think they'll be fine, but they've only scored 24 this season with only York and NFU scoring less. If their defence was much worse they'd be well in it.

Tough next three for York - Dover, Barrow, Aldershot.

We're not in it yet but lose the next couple and arses will start royally flapping. We desperately need players in all positions, Mills should never be allowed to manage in football again, he should have to go through a fit and proper person test like owners have to.

Depends on who we bring in this January (being the only club in the league with a transfer window has hampered us a bit)

If we can get results from our next few games we should be able to drag ourselves out. Woking, NFU, Chester and B'WOOD. Big games.

So who is going to drop? 4 from bottom 7 anyone as it stands as any above have enough already and are decent sides when they want to be.

York surely can't go straight down again?

It's a hard one to call between the bottom seven.

Yep, next two home games are huge, got to be getting players in this week and looking to win both of them. I think we'll limp painfully clear if we do that, if not then it'll get more twitchy..
