Ours is announced at 12, Taylor and Byrom have already signed new deals.

Rumours Lee Collins is off, possibly back to Vale

Dunno when ours is being announced, but Sammy Moore will be released - apparently.

We don't actually have that many players out of contract. 2 of them (Gillespie and Potts) we're trying to tie down to new deals. Of the others (Amoo, Elliott, O'Hanlon, Asamoah, Gillies, Robson, Buddle, Symington) I don't expect any of them to be retained other than Buddle. A few want O'Hanlon kept, but I don't. The only one id like to he kept on is Asamoah.

I'd expect a few of the contracted players to be told they can look for a move. I'd expect Dicker, Paynter, Kearns and possibly Meppen-Walter (although I'd keep the latter) to be the names.

Don't suppose it will be long before ours is out. Murray claims he's known who he wants rid of for weeks. Last week he told someone that the squad is littered with sank who don't give a fuck...

Ours shouldn't be too long in coming out, I imagine they've largely known for a while who they want rid of. Almost certain that Tait, Miller, Champion, Lanzoni, Hunt, Austin, Nelson and Bird will go. I expect a revitalised Harrison Dunk to stay, and that only really leaves Tom Elliott and Luke Chadwick as out of contract I think. I have a feeling Chadwick will retire, Elliott I'm really not sure, if I had to put money on it I'd say he stays, but I think it will come down to how much money he is on. I don't think we use the bloke properly and he is injury prone, but there's 15 goals a season in there for sure.

Of the players under contract I think Simpson will go, probably Chris Dunn as well, and maybe Jordan Slew who despite signing an 18 month deal only 3 months ago hasn't really offered anything at all, not entirely his own fault all the time because of how the team has been set up to play, but just hasn't looked like offering anything.

Expect Gaffney and Chiedozie to start the season on loan, which wouldn't leave us with a lot, but shows how much rebuilding we need to do.

Not one of the players out of contract has been offered terms yet.

Newey and Bodin may get an offer depending on fitness. As back up Newey is ok - but not one for the future. Bodin clearly is still young and not that long ago was on the radar - so if he is over his injury and cheap - could be an useful squad option.
Jalal has not been released or offered anything yet - which suggests if we find nothing else he may still say.

The big news is that Lee Collins has been released. On paper this looks like a terrible decision by Wilder. I think this is more due to having both Diamond and Cresswell under contract for the next two seasons - which means Wilder has to play those two.

Hackett has been transfer listed which is no surprise - should never have been offered two years last summer. Finally - O'Toole has been transfer listed. Wilder has clearly decided what we all could see - it is not going to work out for JJOT here.

Ours isn't out yet but i'd be surprised if we gave any out of contract players a new deal. So it'll be:

Roy Carroll - Good goalkeeper, utter headcase. Will be off to MLS.

Mustapha Dumbuya - Useful League One right back but our highest earner and always injured.

Hayden Mullins - Finished. A shipwrecked footballer.

Drissa Traore - Mysterious Ivorian midfielder, actually looked decent.

Gary Jones - Fucking give it up, man, you're embarrassing yourself.

Alan Smith - Will retire. Hopefully.

Garry Thompson - Will miss one on ones. Actually had an okay season.

Shaun Harrad - Signed when Shaun and Greg got smashed, I think.

Balint Bajner - Gangly Hugarian striker, actually done okay but doubt he'll stay.

Elliott Whitehouse, Brad McGowan, Cieron Keane, Greg Tempest - Kids, dunno.

In addition we will tell Sean Newton to fuck off back to non-league and probably transfer list the non-existent Nicky Wroe.

Leaving us with:

Fabian Spiess
Blair Adams
Haydn Hollis
Taylor McKenzie
Jordan Cranston
Liam Noble
Curtis Thompson
Jordan Richards
Lartey Sarpong
Will Hayhurst
Billy Daniels
Jimmy Spencer
Ronan Murray
Colby Bishop

Which actually isn't a bad base to build on for League Two. That strike force, in particular, should be fantastic.

Boro defender David Atkinson and Bradford midfielder Jason Kennedy have received offers in principle following the successful conclusion of their loan spells.

Current squad members Mark Gillespie and Brad Potts have been offered long term deals, and striker Derek Asamoah and defender Nathan Buddle have been offered short-term contracts as their respective deals draw to a close.

Six players will not be re-engaged on conclusion of their current contracts during this summer period - David Amoo, Stephen Elliott, Josh Gillies, Sean O’Hanlon, Matt Robson and David Symington.

Currently contracted for the duration of next season are Patrick Brough, Kyle Dempsey, Danny Grainger, Dan Hanford, Connor Hammell, Steven Rigg and Charlie Wyke.

Players under contract who have been made available are Troy Archibald-Henville, Mark Beck, Gary Dicker, Anthony Griffith, Danny Kearns, Courtney Meppen-Walter, Billy Paynter and Antony Sweeney.

Absolutely brutal by Curle, potentially 15 players out the door. Decent looking team though of the players we've kept or offered contracts to.

Curle gave Beck a new contract earlier this season now he wants rid of him, not that I'm unhappy. He also signed Griffith who turned out to be dreadful, now he's trying to offload him, again the correct decision.

Surprised Troy isn't in his plans even with his injury, as well as Meppen Walter who certainly has the potential.

It would take some doing to assemble a team of bigger nobheads than this season.

I imagine our list will be finalised after Liverani has met with Becchetti to discuss his future. If he goes, I imagine Nugent and Edwards will sort it out.

These are the players Curle wants here next season, all youngish players except Grainger.

Goalkeepers:
Hanford
Gillespie (offered contract)

Defenders:
Brough (left back)
Grainger (left back)
Buddle (centre defence/offered contract)
Atkinson (centre defence/offered contract)

Midfielders:
Dempsey (centre midfield)
Hammell (centre midfield)
Potts (offered contract)
Kennedy (offered contract)

Forwards:
Wyke
Rigg
Asamoah (offered contract)

Doubt many of the players up for transfer will be snapped up, but a few should find clubs quite easily.

This means we'll probably be bringing in quite a few new, experienced players to balance the side.

Well an SPL club made a bid for Troy in January, so you'd imagine they'll still be interested in taking him if no one else does.

If everything goes as Curle wants it to in terms of outs/ins we'll have an average age of 22, wow.

Sturrock's having meetings on Friday with each player about their future so our retained list will come out soon after, I expect it to be very short.

Well I think he'll want to bring in other players as well so I doubt it'll be 22 when he's finished the overhaul.

Not bad, Rochdale and Oldham's was about 23 this season and they did alright. Rather that than ours which was about 29/30

Basically, I'll shorten what Jacob said by saying...'none' - there's really no reason to keep anyone out of contract unless you fancy giving someone like Traore another year because he's looked decent when he's played but I'm not sure he's even been on the bench in about 3 months.

We will get a centre back. Wouldn't be surprised if we go for Troy and if we don't it'll probably be Cheltenham's Matt Taylor.

We're so predictable so the chances are we'll go for a former player.

To be fair, Griffith plugged a gap when we were desperate for any kind of defensive midfielder to just keep us from shipping goals. He probably helped us pick up a few points and then better options became available in Kennedy and Dicker. You could argue we'd have gone down had Curle not done anything at all in January about the vast number of goals we were shipping.

Ross Perry (never played, never noticed)
Ian Morris (injured all year, wasn't all that great when he played)

Invited back for pre-season:

Tom Newey
Billy Bodin
Shwan Jalal

Transfer listed:

John Joe O'Toole (never fit the system, on big money, get eyt of here)

Under Contract:

Gary Woods (GK)
Adam Legzdins (GK)
Charlie Grainger (GK)
Nathan Clarke (DF)
Mathieu Baudry (DF)
Shane Lowry (DF)
Bradley Pricthard (MF)
Romain Vincelot (MF)
Lloyd James (MF)
Jobi McAnuff (WG)
Dean Cox (WG) - Will be sold for £300-500k if the right offer comes in.
Scott Kashket (ST)
Darius Henderson (ST)
Jay Simpson (ST)

Out of Contract:
Elliott Omozusi (DF) - Will go to League One Club.
Gary Sawyer (DF) - 50/50 on him, will sign new deal if offered one I think.
Scott Cuthbert (DF) - Will go to another League One Club.
Andis Nikolaou (DF) - Released. Will end up in National League South.
Andrea Dossena (DF) - A c*** of a man who was useless for us. Will be released and hopefully never seen again.
Harry Lee (MF) - Released. Will end up in National League South.
Josh Wright (MF) - I'd get rid of him, far too inconsistent. But will be offered a deal I think.
Marvin Bartley (MF) - I'd keep him, but he will sign for another League One club.
Kevin Lisbie (ST) - Released. Will end up somewhere in London/Essex.
David Mooney (ST) - Will leave and sign for League One Club.
Shaun Batt (ST) - Released. Has his uses but injury prone and rarely fit, good impact sub. Will go to League One/Two Club.
Chris Dagnall (ST) - Have to keep him as we won't get much better, but he will get plenty of League One offers.
Gianvito Plasmati (ST) - A shit & crocked Serie A reject. Will be binned off.

I'd only Keep Cuthbert, Dagnall and Bartley if I am honest. But they will all end up in League One again with new clubs, we're run like a circus now. We may keep Dagnall if we offer him 2-3 years and pay him well.
