RIP Christian Mbulu

Absolutely tragic news to see former Crewe defender and current Morecambe defender Christian Mbulu has passed away at the age of 23. Absolutely no age to go at all.

Though his spell with us was only brief, he was a great lad who seemed very grateful for the opportunity to play for us when we had him on a near never ending trial. Just such a shame his career and, more importantly, his life has been cut short far too soon. May he rest in peace.

Sad news. Had him on trial a couple seasons back in a home game against Ajax which we won 2-0, he played very well and a lot of our fans were surprised to see him not offered anything afterwards. RIP.
