Sadly, Cobblers fan Rob Dunkley (posted here under the name HertsCobbler) passed away yesterday. He was at Luton, and was by all accounts on fantastic form so this news has come as a great shock, and has understandably brought us all back down to earth. He was a kind, genuine man with a great knowledge of everything football, and he will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

RIP Rob.

His profile says he was only 35. How very sad.

Ian King of 200% paid tribute to him on twitter earlier.

RIP.

Terrible news.

Saddlerrad , is there any chance we can rename the League 2 forum after him? He was a well respected mod on TFF and has carried that over onto here. Definitely represents lower league football in terms of his knowledge of stats and the leagues.

Bloody sad this. RIP Rob.

Wow that's horrible.

Thoughts go out to all the guys family and friends at what will be an awful time for them. Always liked the guy on here came across as a very good poster.

I echo Lee's request, Let's pay tribute to him by renaming the L2 section.

Was going to suggest this as well. Had the pleasure of meeting him a number of times, as did other people who post on here. Genuinely a good guy and it goes without saying he will be missed.

RIP Rob.

Yes it goes without saying.

Absolutely shocking news. Never had the chance to really converse with Herts on TFF or 1FF, but he was always a respected member that was fair and came across as a nice bloke.

This is very, very shocking news - at this time of the year especially.

RIP Rob.

Wow sad indeed. Puts things into perspective really.

Didn't know the guy and never met him but very sad to think that someone who obviously had a similar interest, a similar age and who you've engaged with even if fleetingly, will no longer be about.

Sad indeed.

Thoughts go out to all those who knew him.

Very shocking news to hear this morning, I had known him for 8 years through the old TFF and we became good friends. Met up for every game we had over the last 8 years, saw him in September for our 1-1 draw at Sixfields.

RIP Rob, you will be missed.

Gutted. Not spoken to Rob for a couple of years since we were in League Two and he asked for some Shots related info, which I has happy to supply. Always seemed a genuine guy whose love was all things NTFC.

RIP mate, and condolences to his family and everyone close to him.
