Dead today from cancer at 68. One of the truly greatest players of all time and Barca wouldn't be where they are without him, RIP.

I'd certainly place him in the top 10 of footballers that have ever existed. His interviews were always interesting and certainly showed that he grew up in time when many barriers came down as he was certainly not deferential!

I was a kid when i first saw him in the early 1970's and was always astonished at what he could do with a football like the clip above shows. It's a very sad day for football indeed, thanks for some great memories Johan. RIP.

He was before my time so I never got see him properly play other than on old VHS tapes and other various highlights. His impact on the game cannot be denied and he will be remember as one of the greatest of all time. RIP.
