It is only Evans changes it every week. Mellis is first name on the team sheet for me, He was the only one likely to make anything happen.

Saturday I'd go Macca, Mellis, Digby, Atkinson but can see him having Butcher in. When Byrom is fit he's in the middle with Mellis for me.

We're missing Byrom badly in my opinion, he's the one that makes us tick.

Digby, for me, isn't ready yet.

He certainly seems to be trying to fit square pegs into round holes.

Sometimes a defeat can be a benefit in the long run. A defeat to county wouldn't sit well

Wh Stag, you are embarrasing. Never known anyone have an obsession with Cheltenham.

We deserved what we got last night. Awful performance. Went down Monday aswell to 'prepare correctly' for it and not one single player turned up. Got to be 100x better than that on Saturday or Notts will teach hammer us.
Its an internet forum and you care that much.... embarrassing

Not really pal. We're Mansfield, not fucking Real Madrid. Whatever makes you think Cheltenham are some crap side compared to us. Especially baring in mind we lost 3-0 here and couldn't beat them with 10 men for 70 minutes last season.

I find it hilarious, I've never known someone hate us so much, and I know a few Gloucester City fans.

As for the game, I've likened it to a boxing match in that the first half was very nip and tuck. Stags had the vast majority of the possession and a couple of real chances, and we had the chance that hit the post followed by the off-side (correctly ruled, btw) goal just before half-time. Second half, it seemed we'd worked Mansfield out and once we got ahead it was comfortable and could easily have been 4 or 5 and I don't think Mansfield could have complained.

The second goal was strange, probably was a foul on Sterling-James, but I couldn't believe the Mansfield players were stood around waiting for a whistle. My lad is 7 and he knows you play to the whistle.

As I said before the game, we're playing well at the moment, we were unlucky to lose to Stevenage and Newport, and any other day we'd have battered Yeovil. It's started to click though in the last 3 games, and things are starting to look up again.

Not bad for a shit team anyway.
