Despite the wide difference in league placing's I as always expect a tough keenly contested game. Blackpool had been on a very good run prior to the Barnsley defeat. Hopefully the loss of our back up keeper between the sticks will disrupt the defence enough to swing things in Albion's favour.

Going for a tight 2 1 victory. We where made to work hard for our 2 1 win at Bloomfield and I see it the same on Saturday. Hoping for another sub 5000 gate.

Why would you hope for a gate lower than 5,000?

Because we are shitty little Burton who have many football supporters in this town who don't know the game is played other than on Sky.
They make my piss itch because they laugh or look at you gone out if you mention football and Burton Albion in the same breath.
It will take a generation or more before we have born Brewers fans instead of them being everyones second team.
I am actually quite suprised we got as many as we did today such is the apathy amongst Burtonions toward the club.
Maybe with around 4000 today the message might be slowly getting across but i won't hold my breath.
Lets see if they turn up on a freezing cold February night when Chelsea, Man City, Arsenel et al are on the tv playing shit champions league games.

Great second half performance today with ten men. We where immense
Question is whether we lose any players in the window. If we don't, I reckon we are good for top six at least.

Brilliant save by McLaughlin first half and 2 moments of stupidity from Weir. We dominated with 10 men 2nd half and Blackpool were lucky defeat wasn't by a bigger margin.
51 points in January, game on regarding promotion !
