On my way up to Rotherham now. Think this will be tough given our poor record in midweek trips up north the last few years. Lost on our last 3 visit's to Rotherham as well.
As you say Madejski easily the worst we have played this season. First half was fairly even. The first 30 minutes of the second half was all Rotherham. The last 10 minutes we did create a few decent chances but the final touch or ball let us down. Al-Habsi played well and should remain the number one. Only other downside is Quinn being out to January and Kanu out for 6-8 weeks but at least we have a big enough squad to cope.
Given that this was Redfearn's first home in charge it was always going to be tough so a point isn't a bad result.
As for Rotherham if they play and battle like that for the rest of the season then they shouldn't have much trouble staying up especially if as Redfearn has said they can draw with the best side in the Championship.
We played well last night against a really well organized team, Reading looked very dangerous going forward, especially on the counter attack which their goal came from really, was a brilliant goal btw, Steve Clarke has said we're the first team this season to cause his defence all sorts of problems and our goal came from poor marking by the Reading defenders tbf, overall it was a fair result because both sides tried to win the game and failed to snatch the winner, bring on the owls Friday!
