Watson's had a cracker of a first half there. George Ford not so much.

Yeah really impressed with Watson, and Joseph. A few silly mistakes that have gifted Wales the lead imo

You just know Wales will snatch this at the end.

Welsh lineout is fucking schoolboy stuff. England too powerful and too good in the set plays.

Get in, fantastic win and a much stronger second half... But in truth Wales were dreadful that second half... The bath boys played superb

Second half performance was fantastic there, didn't give Wales a sniff, proper impressed by the makeshift centre pairing, Watson out on the wing and Haskell and Vunipola were dominant throughout.

Should be huge questions asked of the Welsh though, pretty poor stuff from them aside from Halfpenny and the first-choice halfbacks

Oh and Twelvetrees did more in that last 10 minutes than he has in his entire international career

True, too many kicks for a start. Keeping Roberts quiet goes a long way to nullifying the threat.

That's a joke, shouldn't be losing to a team without so many players. Gatland-ball and no plan B as usual, he's gone stale and these players should be producing loads more. Doesn't pick the form players, picks his favourites and sticks with them even when underperforming. Liam Williams should be in the team for starters. We won't get out of the group in the WC, England were too good in all departments.

So happy . As a proud Englishman living in South Wales the next week would've been unbearable if we'd lost . Never any chance of that in the second half . Great win and performance . Really proud of them all .

Stark contrast in tackling from both teams. When Wales had some urgency in their game, England were tackling low and creating a shallow line to prevent the off-load. They were also disciplined enough in the second half to know when to contest the breakdown and when not to. Wales on the other hand were tackling high and that caused umpteen missed tackles. I genuinely don't get Warren Gatland, why he doesn't practice having secondary runners as an option from a ruck beggars belief. That's something which is seldom rare in the Northern Hemisphere, it leads to multiple phases with the forwards being used as battering rams and that's why I find Northern Hemisphere Rugby so much more cumbersome compared to their Southern Hemisphere counterparts.

England's forward pack were dominant, the two centres impressed and Mike Brown was excellent. Jonathan Edwards comments at the end that Gatland as usual didn't have a Plan B were pretty damning in my opinion.

Aye, that was what they were saying on the Sky preview last night. Wales are easily the most powerful side in Europe and they just rely on running through people and getting over the gain line consistently, makes them a bit one dimensional and throughout the game England weren't giving them an inch. Joseph and Burrell held up tremendously against Roberts and Davies and the English forwards were a brick wall defensively. North pretty much played the game not knowing his own name so it'd be a bit harsh saying he was ineffective coming off the wing and trying to create stuff too.

Very impressive given the "weaken team" and fact we were 8 behind.

Gives the management a few selection headaches in a positive way.

Said to all my Welsh mates in uni that England would win by less than five and they all laughed at me. Wasn't far off in the end, just watching the highlights now, great start to the Six Nations.

Reading through stuff and I'm amazed at Ford winning MOTM and getting heaps of praise too...thought he was pretty sub-par if I'm honest, terrible in the first half and solid in the second but his overall kicking game wasn't great and he was hardly influential with ball in hand. No idea how you'd go about making a case for him ahead of Watson, Haskell, Kruis, Vunipola, Joseph - well just about any other English player really, not that there's nay great shame in that.

Very impressed with that given the missing numbers for England.

Seeing a lot of anti Gatland talk from the Taffs on Twitter.

Because he is now holding the team back with his pre-historic and one-dimensional tactics. Never seen the world class partnership of Roberts and Davies so ineffective in the centre, they were rebuffed. This is an insanely talented Welsh side and it is going backwards, some because of age but mainly because of Gatland and has been for some time. He is tainting his legacy with every match it seems.

Must admit.. I've always seen North as your best player (after halfpenny) but he was terrible last night. Both wingers were, and the majority of your front row.
