As no one has started a thread, Ive started one.
We ,Swindon need a couple more points this season to keep us out of the relegation zone, cant see it happening here, Wallsall are a good side and play football the proper way.
We do have a decent record at the Bank's stadium and always take good support up there, but cant imagine more than the very loyal 400 or 500 making the trip.
Im going to predict a tonking for us , Wallsall to win 4 or 5 -0
Season has been painful, and i cant see no improvement for next season, i reckon we are a banker for relegation, so get your money on us !!!!

Banker home win. Walsall will be too good against our brittle defence. Confidence must be very low. 3-0 Walsall

Luke will fire up the troops by inviting the squad to his knitting circle pre match.

Followed by cocoa and a bedtime story - nothing scary, though, so they'll be no mention of our nightmare defending.

Monty Python's dead parrot has got more life in it than our lot.

If there was ever a game that has typical Walsall FC written all over it, it's this. Away side with nothing to play for but pride, shipping goals left right and centre, in dire form. Us just having won 2, just got confidence back and creating chances, with a real shot at the top 2 if the next couple of results go our way. You really don't know where you are with the side. 2 desperate away performances vs Sheffield United and Oldham, then an absolutely crucial win at Gillingham and a massively deserved home victory vs Southend where we created numerous chances and should have been out of sight long before it came to the 88th minute.

In true Walsall style, it would be typical to lose 1-0 tonight, then go to Bradford and win 1-0 on Saturday.

With the amount of opportunities we have wasted chasing Burton down, I don't harbour massive hopes that will change.

PS - Even if Bradshaw is fit, I'd start Hiwula - he occupies defenders better than Bradshaw does as he has pace and because of that his link up play has brought Sawyers back to life in the last 2.

Pride? Fucking pride?

You'd like to think so wouldn't you. But this lot, for whatever reason, appear to not give a fuck.

Just as I dont give a fuck about going to watch the useless twats

Swindon playing well, always got width. They'll score 100%. We've looked nervous.

1-1 a fair result. We looked tired and Swindon defended incredibly well, some outrageous blocks from their defenders today.

Get our strongest 11 on the pitch and we do well. No real surprise there. Injuries and a lack of recruitment have spoiled our season. Hopefully Power has learned a lot this year and we can go about our business early this summer and get enough bodies in rather than trying to blag our way through another campaign.

If not it'll be more of the same.

Good luck to Walsall by the way, hope you manage to get over the line!

Fair play Swindon. Comfortably deserved a draw. I thought you played as well as any of the top 6 or 7 sides i've seen this season and baffling to understand your league position and form. A complete fluke of a goal and you were lucky to be let off with Fordes rasper that hit the post but if you play that well you deserve it!! You nullified our threat differently to every other side this year and didnt opt for the negative 9 men behind the ball approach. High pressing up the pitch and a high line with midfield players comfortable enough on the ball to control possession for long periods. Also a special mention for your left back, Number 15 I think. Neck and neck with Dack for best oppo player i've seen this year.

As for us the home hoodoo continues. Its the million dollar question of how to sort Walsall home form out. Many managers have failed over many years to do it now. A real below par performance and disappointing result for us and felt like a big opportunity missed. 'On paper' a much tougher game coming up away at Bradford on Saturday. It would be just like us to go and win it!!

1-1 was probably a better result for us than Swindon, but in reality - this weekends fixtures look tough on us and that's probably our chance at the Automatics completely blown out of the window. Swindon did a good tactical job on us, pressing 2 wingbacks up near the half way line which meant they always had a man over or extra width and an easy get out ball when we tried pressing the defence high up the pitch. Definetely a performance above the league position, no surprise to see that you have a team fully back to fitness.

We missed the better chances and Swindon got lucky with Forde shot as for 90% of the time it left his boot, it was in, but it just swerved at the last second, but I felt Swindon were always the better and more fluid side on the ball as we looked flat, tired and nervous in possession. 3 games in a week is going to ruin our chances. The ginger left wingback Brophy was exceptionally good at not losing the ball and always having an option, it's a shame for Swindon his final ball was horrendous as he got space down our left hand side all evening.

As for us, same old same old at home. Look out of the running, then perform, get the chance to really really apply pressure to Burton and flop, especially at home. The simple fact is, a play-off place is great for us, but over the course of this season we have had SO many chances to catch Burton and frustratingly, fluffed absolutely ALL of them - anything but the top 2 feels a dissapointment and the stress of the play-offs really won't suit a team like us. The most annoying aspect is that had we taken even a third of those chances, we would be right at the top with Wigan now, not really having to worry about chasing or being caught. This side IS good enough to be in the top 2, but our bottle and lack of performance at home makes me never want to watch at the Bescot again.

Mantom was absolute dogshit AGAIN, no wonder Chambers looked tired he does the work for an entire midfield. How can Lalkovic moan at being subbed or not starting each week? 1 decent performance at Gillingham and then he has offered precisely NOTHING in the following 2 games. Forde is too slow to play at home, can't beat his man, constantly check's back and then the pace/threat of our counter is nullified, sides re-arrange there defensive/midfield lines quickly and so we end up passing it backwards. We didn't get any link up play from Sawyers/Hiwula which has made us look such a threat in the last couple of games. Bradshaw didn't look fit. Morris has to be worth more than a 20 minutes sub appearance? I suspect Whitney will ring the changes on Saturday as we look to freshen things up with another game next Tuesday. For me, O'Connor will come back in, along with Taylor, one of Forde/Milan will drop out too.

Swindon will be fine if they keep that side together and add a couple of players for next season.
