Going down. Your little stint of improvement seems to have ended and some difficult games are coming up with Spurs, Everton and City in your next 5 games, which could lead to confidence getting even worse. Combine that with your manager being mediocre at best and a squad that's pretty much the same, it's not looking good. A chance you won't finish 20th but I just can't see 3 other teams being worse.
They do look like certs for the drop but how many times has that been in the case in the last few seasons? The difference is that this time they do have a proper goalscorer in the squad. I still think that they're gone but you can argue they stand in better stead than previous years.
Oh guys, have we really learnt nothing from the last few years? You write this lot off at your peril. That said, I can definitely see them going this year... not a great side and overly reliant on an ageing Defoe for goals.
I've voted for staying up but that's more out of optimism. The side just do not look good enough at the minute. Signing Lescott won't help the situation either.
I will be very surprised if we stay up. A poor squad that's been hit by injuries and no money to strengthen. The little winning run filled me with some optimism but our last few games we have been awful.
Rumours Moyes wants Darron Gibson and Bryan Oviedo. Would gladly let Gibson go, he's played maybe 10 games in 3 and a half years. Oviedo has been ruined by injuries/Martinez nit knowing how to defend
I think they'll pull off their great escape, Defoe will fire them enough goals to see them survive. Think one of the teams higher in the league will get dragged into the battle later in the season, while Palace will definitely stay up as Sam as in charge of them.
