If the season doesn’t start or starts without fans those clubs will be fucked.
Isn't it more of a question of how long the season goes on without fans? The mid September start was going to be behind closed doors.

September was agreed before the government said October for fans (let’s be honest that isn’t going to happen is it) Grimsby chairman has been fairly vocal on it and although we can afford it we are concerned that it will see many clubs unable to start.

Virus isn’t going away and seems to be the stage now that we will struggle to go further until a vaccine.

If we can start in October with fans I’d favour the Shrews idea of playing the leasing and capital one cup first.

Not sure how the season will complete though as winter is only going to see larger spikes I would think due to the cold weather and more indoor meeting, whilst I would say it’s something we have to live with I envisage the season being very stop/start potentially.

Clubs will need funding if fans can’t attend for large periods.
