Proper teams don't have a game today because we had/have players in World Cup qualifying duty in the footballing hotbeds of Bermuda, Curacao, Rwanda and Zimbabwe.

Anyway 16 teams are still in action. Go...

I’m stunned those footballing hotbeds aren’t falling over themselves to find a Vale player whose aunt has a passport for one of them.

As it happens our game with Orient is on today. Don’t know much about their team now other than obviously they seem to be having a bit of a playoff hangover. We need to turn half decent performances into points. Going straight in there with our new signings George Hall and Devante Cole.

I don’t think they’ve just had a play off hangover, I think it’s more about losing players in the summer to bigger and better teams, whether on permanent transfers or end of loans.

Orient lost 6 or 7 of their first eleven didn't they? Would kill any side, especially one that doesn't have much money to play with.

Quickly losing the will to live with this team. Utter dogshit first half. That useless sack of shit Mo Faal can fuck off back to Wrexham tonight as far as I’m concerned. Made changes at halftime, battered them the majority of the half and levelled it then last minute of injury time let them stroll away on the counter to win it. Had better days.

Usual rubbish away from home. Rotherham didnt have to be that great to beat us.
Gomes and Higgins looked good, came on too late

Turned a team that would not win the Bolton Sunday league......Nine men Awful a foul you will see by Browne on Conway and a late sending off with Lewis.
They wont be the only team that cannot handle Duberry and Gale this season

No it wasn't great but it was good to get the 3 points.

Another 3 injuries won't help our cause at Wimbledon next Saturday either.

The best part of the game from our point of view was the debut of Thomas Holmes, who won the sponsors MoM.

Everybody was telling us how useless and slow he is when we signed him last week, maybe he has found a new home where he can flourish.
He made a really good start today, I hope he can keep it up.
