Full team and reserve. Bloody Hell. We’ve apparently got 12 senior players out injured. A lot of those have been/will be out for several weeks as well.
Having an unusually long injury list at present doesn't prove him wrong y'knowAnd is your chairman's face covered in egg ?
Sometime ago he was bragging that his Vegan policy helped his players keep fit and recover from injury much quicker than players from other clubs. Twat.

But are all injured 1st teamers ?
Is the manager pushing them too hard in training?
And is your chairman's face covered in egg ?

A Tranmere win would put FGR back into an auto-relegation position which should be the real concern for the club.
While there are certainly some health benefits to a vegan diet, is there any research that shows such a diet helps recovery from injury?Having an usually long injury list at present doesn't prove him wrong y'know
It’s his entightlement of pushing his beliefs on the club and visitors that makes him an Uber Cnut.....and probably the most disliked owner in all the efl. While there are certainly some health benefits to a vegan diet, is there any research that shows such a diet helps recovery from injury?
Even if FGR have a vegan policy at the ground, doubt that Dale Vince can enforce it outside of that, so the players will eat what they deem appropriate in their own homes. Don't know how many of the Forest Green players are fully vegan, would guess the majority aren't. So even if improved injury recovery was shown by such a diet, most players wouldn't benefit.
If I'm right, they don't try to enforce it outside of the club. While there are certainly some health benefits to a vegan diet, is there any research that shows such a diet helps recovery from injury?

There’s been a bigger study done on meat eaters.....it’s called human evolution and without it there would be is plants growing all over the earth with no soy boys around to eat it.If I'm right, they don't try to enforce it outside of the club.
There's very little research to show if a plant-based diet can help recovery or not. I think there are some small studies and a fair bit of anecdotal evidence but I'd like to see some more wide-ranging studies before making any such claims...

Good to see the bookies still love us after our 2 recent non performances and and a physio’s room that looks like something out of 70s Nam. Crewe 2/1 haha I’ll have some of that.Crewe at home 2/1 looks inviting but not as inviting as MK to win at Newport.
Time to lump on.
Would have also bet a small stake on Barrow but with the new manager now in place at Valley Parade I will stay clear.
BTTS , Crewe vs Notts, Colchester Vs Sutton and Wimbledon Vs Donny

The last time I went to Gresty Road was a few years ago on the first day of the season. We scored after about 2 minutes and my pissed up mate thought it’d be a good idea to go on the pitch to celebrate. Got nicked, spent the night at Widnes police station and had to find his way back to Notts on the Sunday. The admission might be expensive but the beer in Crewe is very cheap.

One or two Rovers players likely to be missing injured, but don't think they'll make a difference. Luke Norris gives us a different option up front and I'd expect us to score, but the defensive issues and late goals conceded of late have been very costly and Adkins is reluctant to move O'Connor to defensive midfield to give us more protection. It will be interesting to see how McGee and Hendry fare against their old club. Draw most likely outcome.
