Tough rest of the month tbh, we’ve some seriously challenging and hard games coming up with doncaster away next up with home games against stockport bank holiday and bradford into just into sept.

Even after that there’s grimsby away and sheffield weds in the league cup.

Hoping to get tickets for that. Me and my dad enjoyed our trip when we won 3-2 and we had tickets for last year but couldn't make it due to it getting rearranged :(

I'm surprised Eisa got a league club, let alone seems to be in their starting eleven.

Unsure what the expectation of him is, but he isn't good enough.
I was expecting him to be a punt/squad player but concerning he's started both matches so far. Did hit the post against the Wombles with a decent shot though. He was anonymous today mind.

Tbh i think successive home games to you and stockport will be pretty much sold out (appreciate they’d probably only pushing 8,700 or so) but it won’t be far off.

Lovely grub, decent bottle of Chianti followed by some peasant Scillian stuff. Loads of pasta and cold meats. Decent day all around.

Seems we hit the woodwork 4,times and we're good for the point possibly more.

Ahhh Primitivo from the marches and tiramsu later. Ohh lemon sorbet placed on the table...I could be the fattest Crawley fan in Christendom soon.

Well done to Newport, great City to go for a drink round and a four nil home win, what more could you ask for.

Another defeat for Rovers. Reports suggest that we went behind to an early set-piece, but after changes in tactics and personnel we improved from the end of the first half. Had enough chances to get something from the game. I’ve seen footage of Norris hitting the woodwork when one on one with the keeper, think even the proverbial granny would find the net.

Credit to the Milton Keynes fans for joining in the 60th minute applause for Ben Harrison, Trust founder and first fan on the board at TRFC who sadly passed earlier this week.

Yep, Hurst said he'll be back in contention for August Bank Holiday week all being well. Annoying as he looked lively in pre-season, he should walk into the team when he's back going off Vernam's and Eisa's starts to the season. Is he better in a two or a three up top?
So with Grimsby have being beaten by both Nottinghamshire sides this week, which side would you say is the better team.

We didn't play Forest in the cup mate, we played Mansfield (Derbyshire). But no seriously, I didn't see the match against you lot so can't comment on that really. Sounded like you absolutely tore us to shreds and you didn't concede though so if pushed I'd say you guys.

Possible chance they’ll have been beaten again by a nottinghamshire side this time next week

I know we were shite today but the pass from Mularkey for Clifton’s goal is golden.

I’ll be honest, I have no idea how you didn’t come away with a goal in that second half, that crossbar shot and then two headers that are easier to score. But we need to ride our luck and win even when playing badly so I’m thrilled with the result, as it’s the sort of game we’d have lost last season by about 3 goals.

The minutes applause was a bit of a surprise as we didn’t know anything about it near us, but as it went on it was clear it was for a fan so were more than happy to join in.

County were decent but I wouldn’t say 3-2 flattered us minus that flurry of chances near the end of the first half. Second half was atrocious from us though and just showed how uninspiring we are as an attacking side, barely a meaningful chance all half. As I said earlier, Notts had the one tactic of knock it around at the back for a bit, play it down the wing and put a good cross in - we didn’t learn from it all game. Second equaliser was fortuitous but the third showed defensively Efete isn’t up to it. Was impressed by Bostock, Nemane (NEP though) and Jones. Only positives were Harvey Rodgers (despite conceding 3) and managing to score 2 goals. Harry Clifton is a shadow of what he was last season.

3-2 is the best win. Absolutely loved today, big crowd, cracking atmosphere from both sides, and a notable upgrade in the standard of football from the National League. Crowley for us was fucking mustard, as was Nemane. Our defence was shite, and I’m surprised Grimsby didn’t pressure us a bit more after we took the lead.

Just fantastic to be back in proper football with proper football clubs.

On reflection, it was the good showing in a couple of key positions that was pretty satisfying about today, Daniels in goal especially. With him doing all the basics right easier for the defence to stand up in front of him.

"Notts had the one tactic of knock it around at the back for a bit, play it down the wing and put a good cross in" - that's what we call locally Plan A. Very very effective last season.

Great to score 3 and neither Langstaff not McGoldrick got on the scoresheet.

Midfield was the difference, Bostock and Palmer were once again quality and calm heads in a game of flawed chaos.

Crowley a big positive.

Rawlinson a continued worry. Baldwin a big upgrade.

It was indeed as was Jones' sexy turn and beautiful cross to the far stick for the diving header.

Dwight Schrute spin move for the masses to enjoy.

Great goals.

My hot take from purely watching the goals is that all 5 goals look like the type of goals.you concede early in the season. All had a fair bit of luck / stinking defending about them

Goal 1 and Goal 3 from Notts are very typical Notts play but the defending was ✖️

Luke Williams will take much solace from the stats that Notts are getting the performance levels back on track. Away at Morecambe will be a big test of it mid week

4 points from two games - 4 more that any Crawley supporter and dare I say every other clubs supporters in league two - the woodwork saved Salford four times in the first half - yes we should have been out of sight by halftime but we weren't and that's the frustrating aspect of both the league games so far this season.

We have now MK Dons and Gillingham coming up at home - take points from these games and I think we will start believing that we will be higher up the league than anyone expected - especially some of our own supporters who had given up even before a ball had been kicked.

Watched the first half and Dons were all over Wrexham , if they played better than the first half then I’m surprised you've come away with a draw.....you didn’t look like winning that game in any shape or form.

Yeah we are rubbish. Weakest conference ever etc etc. Yawn.

If the two awarded penalties are penalty offences in League Two then Mullin is going to win 50 penalties this season.
