Big weekend. MK v Mansfield is huge. Also all the relegation rivals playing in tough away games. Tasty!

All Mansfield aren't we? Always rated Clough, he'll get this done.

Cmon Gills and Mansfield.

If we beat FGR, MK Dons fail to win but Barrow win it is then pretty likely we'd get promoted on Tuesday when not playing. Not very exciting. Barrow with such a bad pitch it is keeping them mathematically possible for anything

If we get a result here with the defence we’re likely to have to put out there then it’ll be the best result of Clough’s 3 1/2 year tenure.

Praying that Brunt is going to be ok but he says not in the interview after the game last night but that never really means anything with Clough.

I’d be happy if he went all negative Nigel tomorrow and defend like we defended at Northampton the other year in the play off 2nd leg.

Get anything and we’re surely up, lose this and we’re probably going to have to win the last 3.

If you lose to MK, you'd probably only need 2 wins and a draw to go up (assuming MK then win their final two) as your GD is so superior to them.

I don’t fancy us to get that if I’m being honest, just not got the players at the back to get that sort of return.

I think we need MK to drop points, hopefully against us, but again unlikely.

I do think an extra midfielder would not be a bad idea Saturday. At least we got options in those positions.

They can be got at MK. They're a good passing side but you'll get chances to spring on them. The likes of Keilor Dunn, Swann etc getting space against them you can definitley go there and score goals. I'm not sure sitting back against them is the best way, they love passing round the back and make mistakes from it, you probably need to press them.

Defintely an extra midfielder needed, they won the game in midfield at our place so I’d stick Maris alongside Reed and Boateng DKD and Clarke infront of them 2.

Leaves 1 up front who will no doubt be Akins but I feel we’d get more joy with Swan running the channels. Akins did play that role at Stockport mind and was excellent after coming on then, That said Clough trusts him and may well go with him at right back again.

We are a pressing side, we won’t change that I don’t think, got to stick to our principles.

MK and Crawley at Field Mill made plenty of mistakes and we missed all the chances pretty much that came from them, we need a performance like Salford and Harrogate with that clinical edge.

Pressure is on Mansfield, 4 fairly tough games in quick succession with a thin squad and looking at MK's fixtures there best bet is to do something about it themselves.

Almost 5-1 on William Hill for MK to make top 3.

No chickens counted for me yet, last night was the hardest part on paper...A home win against the bottom of the league team who need a win themselves and we are as good as there.

Judging us on our away performances isn't a very logical thing to do given how bad we are away... that's the reason I'm more nervous for Harrogate next week than I am for Mansfield.

But Mansfield are a good team with some ex players that will want to prove a point and we won't be going into it lightly. I'm pretty resigned to the play offs myself but if we can come away with another Walsall like performance then I think I'll be believing (until they batter Accrington)

It's almost a shame it isn't the final fixture again.

Pivotal day for the bottom you’d think. We need to pull out one shock win here to be in with a chance. My gut feel is we are down come close Saturday.

Yep, I would take another Walsall 5-0. Got to be the minimum aim.

Hows your nerves!? Think we'll have too much for FGR, but they can shithouse to a point, like they did at their place, so we have to get going early.

MK and Mansfield - I certainly will have 1 eye on that along with Barrow away at Gills.

I’d imagine we’d play 5 in midfield and attempt to attack on the break, the defence we’ll be able to put out will be makeshift again so will need protection.

Somewhere between 3,000 and 3,500 heading down and will do all they can to help the boys along.

Would happily stap anyone’s hand/body whatever for a point now given we’ve the other game in hand against accrington at home tuesday.

Must win game for us.

If we can play like we did at Crewe and not in all our other recent games you never know....

We hit them on the break, played with a bit of urgency and actually passed the ball to each other when we got in their half. Set pieces were decent too. Granted it was only for a 15-20 minute spell but that was enough to kill the game. After that we defended pretty well.

Grimsby did have a poor record against Crewe but more recently won 5 out of the last 6 fixtures.

Unfortunately the current Grimsby team just don’t look capable of scoring goals. Crewe to claim the 3 points with Grimsby praying that Crawley and Harrogate are victorious. If that happens then it will look much better for the Mariners

I thought that we defended pretty well on Saturday against MKD, up to the point where we presented them with a goal on a silver platter...after that we were never likely to get anything from the game.

We played with 2 youngsters (Austerfield and Holicek) in centre midfield, one (Holicek) of whom is more of a tricky winger/attacking player and we got massively over run in midfield.

Ironically we might have no other choice than do something similar this weekend, as we're riddled with injuries and Lewis Leigh, who's been playing well recently and inexplicably got dropped vs FGR got sent off last night so is now banned until the play offs, should we reach them.
