Not been paying much attention but how are Doncaster only one point of the play-offs with three to play? Thought they were almost as bad as us this season.
I’m not sure we want to beat Crawley on the last day now do we…?

I will say the Wrexham fans - legitimate concerns about "where were they when they were shit" aside - are absolute class.
Still singing and chanting en masse half an hour after the game ended.

Our lot were class too, but apologies to all who heard it for the most tuneless rendition of God Save The King heard for decades.

We actually pulled out our fingers a bit and even occasionally halfway went for it towards the end of the game, it really wasn't the worst we've played this season, Wrexham were a cut above, easily one of the best teams in this league. Amazing what Hollywood has done to increase the happiness in a small town on the other side of the world.

We were good, dominated from minute one basically. Half annoying and half ‘if we’d made the play-offs with this team it would’ve been a shit show’ anyway. Couple of leaders to keep this team and check and they’ve got a chance playing this kind of football next season.

I mean fuck me, that’s just incredible.

To go 1 down from a basic defensive mistake to go do that is just remarkable, mansfield just went “fuck this, not having that” for once and went and did it.

Absolutely brilliant 2nd half, defended brilliantly and the goals on the break were brilliant.

Still need a point, don’t fuck it up.

Well done and congratulations to Stockport, Wrexham and Mansfield too. Three of the best sets of posters on here so this place will be taking a hit but I can't deny three of the Brotherhood their glory.

That Mansfield away end must’ve been fucking bouncing as those goals were flying in, and in a nutshell that’s why we all put up with following our rubbish teams just for days like that.
Big well done to all the top 3.

Fair play to Colchester. You can only beat what's in front of you and they beat us with the same ease that Wrexham did. If their forward didn't have a brain fart it would have been even easier.

Didn't think we were good enough to go up now I'm scared in case we do.

Next season will see a much more weaker league in terms of both quality and investment with that top 3 going , 1 minnow likely coming up from the NL and the 4 coming down from league 1 are not exactly big hitters . I hope it gives us a chance of a bit better season . Barring today and the odd game it's been dreadful in the main

Mullin and Langstaff rinsing the goalscoring charts too.
A clogger and a tap in merchant. Has Mullin got 25 league goals yet? That's what I said wasn't going to happen so hopefully I can still be right.

23 in 36 games in the league this season. Just needs to bag two in the games against Crewe and Stockport to make you a liar.

I believe at least nobody was silly enough to suggest that either couldn't handle the step up from the National League. It's been a breeze.

Both too good for L2, and a very good chance both will be rightly playing at a higher level next season.

26 goals and counting after last season's 41 is frankly obscene for a £50,000 purchase#radar

Stockport two promotions in three seasons too without ever really having anyone challenge the best player in the league lists shows how balanced the squads Challinor has built have been.

Happy for Mansfield, despite the bickering with some of their fans on here they do deserve it so fair play to them. Plus the plastic Winkleman play things hopefully condemned to defeat in the playoffs

Such a shame that we might get into the playoffs - because if we do, whichever side we play will kick the shit out of us and have a great day at Wembley. What a horrible, horrible last couple of months it's been. End the season now and stick us in mid table where we belong.

Yes the Brothers that have all come from the Dark Place like us are leaving us behind like the runt of the litter. They’ve been in the gym with their protein shakes and we’ve been slumped in front of Netflix boxsets with fast food and weed, nearly slipping back into Dark Place…

We’re privileged to have him. I know we wobbled earlier in the season and he naturally has some weaknesses but his record of promotions is crazy. We are lucky clubs in the championship recycle washed up managers or love a random overseas appointment to take a chance on him.

I think this is the last full season we have him - if he starts well in league one then I can see a northern championship team finally taking a punt on him.

They should set up a special league with yourselves, Hartlepool and Barnet. Just let you play it out amongst yourselves.

At what point do we become Crewe’s bogey team?
Last 5 games against them we’ve won the lot by an aggregate of 14-1.
Didn't realise our recent record against you was quite that bad.
And we used to quite enjoy our trips to Cleethorpes where we'd often win.
No doubt you were the better team today - we've got several players out injured but that was pretty dire from us and we never really threatened apart from maybe 5 mins in the second half.
On this kind of form we'll definitely still be in this league come August.

Glads it's done before the last 2. Couldn't care less about results in those 2 now.

Hats off to the lads and Parky had a lot of stick at times this season, including from myself but points don't lie. Looking forward to playing some big teams next season, I'll take 5th from bottom now.

Congrats to Stockport also. Mansfield to finish the job Tuesday.
