Gone from 6 without a win and a broken battered squad to 3 unbeaten with players returning from injury and reinforcements on the way very quickly. Do need to improve the all round play, last 2 games have come from playing a very defensive style, which is fine, but would like to see us get on the ball more and create more chances.

Every chance to do that against a very fucked off club in Swindon, with nobody very happy with how things are going there. Interested to see who comes in in the next week for both clubs, both clubs have promised signings and as yet, only 1 has come in for them.

I'm hoping with our home form and their away form we can turn them over, but they have dangerous players in Austin, Hutton and Khan amongst others, so it'll be tricky. Going for a 2-1 win.

Must be the first time in a long time we are playing someone lower in the form table than us! Though with our defence and Notts attack this could be a massacre!

It was only two games ago you played Salford.

Given their recent results, I'm really not looking forward to facing Walsall

Feels like we're always crap at Colchester and don't see that changing next week.

We need a change of formation and the introduction of fresh legs because to say Alexander's hoofball has been found out is an understatement. I expect an unchanged team however.

Colchester off the back of a decent result yesterday and Cowley's first home game too. Tight 1-0 win for the hosts.

Believe you meAustin, Hutton and Khan are not dangerous. Austin is shot to pieces and is 4 months away from retirement, Hutton has lost form and don’t get me started on Khan. He’s hopeless. Flynn hoping for 3-4 in but we have no confidence that anyone will be in. Blindly I will follow the team to GR but expect to come away with a 2-3 goal defeat

With it being in the north i’m sure the regular mansfield posters on here will be in attendance at morecambe, nice weekender away in lancaster!

Hopefully back to winning way, but yet another tricky game for mansfield. Need a reply after yesterday.

Lancaster is indeed a lovely place to spend some time, had a nice day out there last month. Unfortunately it was followed by a trip to Morecambe.

Can heartily recommend the Merchants, and Three Mariners. If you want to eat in Merchants you need to book in advance though.

We're not far off the same, after losing Bailey back to Salford and picking up more injuries against Mansfield. Got about 14 senior players available by my reckoning.

We’ve done it a good few times tbh, so know the area well, coming from mansfield morecambe isn’t that bad haha.

Never trust a place that serves a pint with a serviette under it.

Be massive if we can go to Morecambe and win with FGR and Sutton at home afterwards. Really hope we’ve signed a striker by then.

Yep, Lancaster weekender so will be one to remember despite whatever result but let’s hope it’s a positive one after this weekends game. Looks like Morecambe have won 1 league game since October so we really need to be winning this, especially with the bottom 2 back to back at home to follow. Could be a real chance to put a decent amount of points on the board in a short amount of time.

Prediction… 3-1 to Mansfield, Gregory hat trick and Adamstag to miss the game after too many double vodka cokes on Friday night.

Lancaster is lovely. My ex found a jazz festival whilst I was watching us at Morecambe.

There's a great little maritime museum if that floats your boat.

Swindon at home. Feel very confident of a win here. Michael Flynn working his usual magic of having loanees carry his team for the first half of the season, starting off well before losing form in the middle of the season and going into a tailspin. I feel Swindon are there for the taking and, coupled with our excellent home form, we should have a few bodies in to strengthen the squad and get a 3 points on Saturday.

Could be Joe White's final game for us which may be the only blow but I'm still hopeful we can extend his loan. The player wants to stay but, sadly, the parent club may have alternative plans for him.

Worth noting last time Flynn came to Crewe he was sacked by Walsall before their next game. Could history repeat itself again?

Going for a 3-1 win.

Swindon have been poor for ages and unless they've brought players in by the weekend you would have beaten them with the depleted team you had in December never mind the stronger one you can field now.

Flynn only signed a 3 year contract approximately 3/4 months ago. He's not going anywhere, despite, what some may want, not least for the fact that we would have to pay his contract up which we clearly are not in a position to do

Colchester away, there are many reasons why we won’t get anything from this game, a few being we’re up against the manager who did an 11th hour u-turn on us, our general ‘never do well down there’ or the fact we’re absolutely gash and could do with an entire new team this window.

I still don’t understand the timing of that extension. I’m hoping it’s to guarantee Flynn a pay off when new owners take over and sack him.

Is that lots of running around at moderate pace, being vocal, getting fully stuck in, misplacing passes and insisting on a club tattoo on each players leg?

I will be raging if the man doesn't get at least one game. Full 180 turn, we're going to shithouse the ugliest 1-0 win you have ever seen.

We've dropped a bit lucky here with that Ali-Al Ally-Ally or whatever he's called being on international duty.
