Game of the day on Saturday is at Brunton Park. 4th v 2nd. Not sure who’s fit to start but Jon Brady will definitely set us up to have a go, hoping we can play like we did away at Bradford when we ripped them apart. Maybe too much to ask mind you.

Prediction: 1-1.

Setting off nice and early for this - 7:00 train which lands in Carlisle at midday. Looking forward to it.

The way we're playing we have to be going for all three here, I feel like Crawley and Harrogate are both gonna pick up home wins.

If Newport are as bad as they were at ours and as on the beach as the Stockport fans were saying then we have no excuses not to get the three points. We definitely need them as our run in is harder than both of Crawley and Harrogate. We don't get the points and results don't go our way, I really don't want to have to go to Salford Tuesday night needing a win.

I’d like to think we will put up a decent show on Saturday. A win makes us safe barring Crawley turning round a 19 goal deficit. Coughlan tried a few things v Stockport which didn’t come off so hopefully we will look a bit more at the races v Pools. Farky, Charsley and Lewis back in midfield will help. Having said all that our home form is poor so who knows - who wants it the most? Probably not much between the sides - what’s happening to Dolan?

Dolan can't get a look in after Curle was scattered, we've better players in every position now, bloke's never been body beautiful but looks well out of shape to me, supposedly he has a contract here at the end of the season, dunno how iron clad the deal is but I can't see him getting much game time here at all.

Away at Sutton where we had a massively impactful win during our NL promotion season right towards the end - can still see James Dayton on the stretcher with a broken ankle, being red carded for throwing his shin pad to the ground in frustration as he knew his season was over - ludicrous non-league stuff.
We will probably win, Sutton aren't bad at home, and we stupidly threw away a 2 goal lead at home against bottom-4 opposition for the second time in three home games, but when we're good we are very, very good for this level - first half against Harrogate was frightening at times, cutting through them every time we got the ball. But then we're also super complacent at the moment so who knows, probably 1-2 to the Os.

All eyes on Carlisle vs Cobblers on Saturday - sounds like both sides are running on empty so probably a draw - sharing the points doesn't really do either team any favours with Stockport absolutely going for it. Carlisle have Stockport at home next game as well so for all the doomsaying on here, their season is firmly in their hands - win both of those games and they're as good as up, loose them both and it's playoffs.

Easy game for Stevenage at home to Wimbledon who have nothing at all to play for - on paper that game sounds incredibly grim.

Stockport away at Gillingham, Gills have the best home form in the league so that won't be easy, can smell a draw in that one.

Hope Hartlepool can beat Newport as well.

We will be promoted IF:

-We win
-Carlisle and Stockport both fail to win
-Bradford lose

The above 3 scenarios happening will make Stevenages result meaningless in the equation as it would mean 3 teams would be unable to overtake us in the top 3.

We have to lose at some point, so I am
Expecting Sutton to beat us.

Veering from ‘we’ll win this’ to ‘3-0 Carlisle’ every 5 minutes or so. One thing for certain is this team are a resilient bunch and are giving absolutely everything, so if we do end up in the playoffs it won’t be through ‘bottling it’

Very Bradford City to be beaten by the worst team in the league. Twice.

Stockport County - Championship - 2001/2002

Won 6 games all season and of those wins, they beat us home and away.

Harris making assessments on who we keep in the summer so hopefully we are not on the beach despite being on 47 points which will probably be enough.

Being at home, we have to attack Stockport so they probably have more chance of a win than when we parked the bus at their place. We also have Orient at Priestfield next Tuesday so I think our excellent home form will be grinding to a halt.

I would like the comfort of at least one more point so hopefully we can take one from either Saturday or Tuesday. Our only other home game will be against Newport but we do not want to rely on that if the bottom four all keep winning or drawing.

I think that a narrow defeat for us is most likely. Carlisles form seems to have been indifferent recently but I just think defensively we can so easily be got at with so many out injured. I think Norman will be targeted and think another Newport result is not out the question.

All in all I think a 2-1 loss is on the cards, would take a draw now. Completely agree though, if we do end up in the playoffs its not through us blowing it as would be argued in a normal season.

Dolan has looked really off the pace whenever he's played, I really hope we don't have to retain him next season

Just shake hands on a draw, seems fair to me.

Brady has confirmed that McGowan and Odimayo's injuries from Friday's game both season enders, thats seven that wont play again this season. Hopefully one or two of the 5 others out will still play a part in the coming weeks.

Been unlike anything we have experienced in the past. Questions have to be asked of the medical team and also whether some of those signed are made of glass anyway. Otherwise a freak circumstance.

Rochdale away -

After the Crawley draw on Good Friday, I wasn’t looking forward to this. The manner of our performance vs Sutton seems to have instilled plenty of confidence in everyone associated with the club.

GK: Harry Lewis

RB: Brad Halliday
CB: Sam Stubbs
CB: Romoney Critchlow
LB: Liam Ridehalgh

CM: Ritchie Smallwood
CM: Alex Gilliead

RW: Scott Banks
AM: Jamie Walker
LW: Harry Chapman

ST: Andy Cook

Something just feels different - almost as if something has just clicked into place at the right time. [famous last words]

3-0 City (3,300 City) and a few hundred in the home end.

He’s out of contract with us in June and family lives in NE so loan this season made sense. Has been a good servant for us over the years, scored some memorable goals but his legs have gone unfortunately.

I’ve seen nothing from this team all season that makes me think we can win this or the Stockport match. Top 3 hopes were over a couple of weeks simply due to the tough run in we have. The number of wins we’d need just aint happening. And now we find ourselves needing results from these 2 home games just to keep us in a good position for top 7. We really need at least 1 win from the 2 games, 3 or 4 points minimum, but I think it will be back to back defeats and 0 points, all but ending our playoff hopes.

Prediction for this one
Carlisle United 0-2 Northampton Town

I hope we get pumped 0-6 so HG can tug his way into oblivion on Saturday night and never be heard of again.

Why would I have a tug over a 6-0 defeat you fucking wet wipe?

Do you think (if you're capable) that I enjoy failing each time against our promotion rivals?

We need to find our form again, and there's no better time to do so. Do or die time, as far as the autos go. We've got to find a way.
