It’s a tricky one although we’ve done well against FGR in recent couple of years. Played very well against them last month and have been better away from home as a rule than we have at home this season.

Huge blow losing Tom Pope after breaking his arm and tearing the ligaments in his shoulder (and playing on!) and possibly Alex Hurst to injury in the paint pot pizza cup but should have the majority fit who returned against Grimsby such as Worrall and Monty.

Jake Taylor should come in which should see the midfield vastly improved, excited to see him back in the midfield with Tom Conlon in the form he is in which is a monster upgrade from Whitehead and Burgess that we had at Barrow, Mansfield and Bradford!

Would take a point here, not sure how much losing Winchester will affect FGR but point would be ok to continue the improvement under Danny Pugh.

Back to 4-3-3 here

Despite our good form (now 4 wins in a row in the league) carlisle are the obvious favourites and will be expected to win.

Best team by a mile i’ve seen this season when i watched us lose up there the other month, it’s good to see them doing well tbh.

Huge game on Saturday, three points is what matters, the method of getting them doesn't.

Agree with your first point, but disagree with your second point. Still loads of points up for grabs and a couple of wins on the bounce and we’re right back in amongst it.

Bradford's turn around in fortunes started at Crawley with a 1-1 draw when Crawley didn't have a shot on target. Obviously we need to do better to get anything on Saturday.

Will there be a giant killing hangover? Always a possibility but we definetly have the forward line to get something from the game.

Will Josh Wright be up for returning and putting one over on his old club? Will he get a game?

So many things could go right or wrong for us in this game so I dont know what to predict. I fully expect us to go and give it a go though.

Carlisle scared of playing us, they reckon that they have got COVID.

Hanson and Scannell have trained this week for us, both might be available this weekend and Scannell was meant to play in the reserves before it was called off.

James Tilley is not injured and is on the fringes of the squad, so was dropped by Hurst last week.

Clifton out injured. Not likely to sign any players before weekend.

Expect another loss, especially if still having Green starting!

Edit: Tilley now left club

Is there a chance ours will be off?
Don't think so, I'm in London but I just spoke to my parents last night and they said it's been cold but not ridiculously so. Think the game will be on, but probably don't get that iFollow pass until 2:45pm on the day. Make sure you've got it before about 3.10pm though because you'll be 1-0 up by then.

An amusing tweet earlier showing your tractor ploughing the snow off the covers.
Presumably, with lashing rain forecast all Saturday morning, you'll leave those on as long as possible or does it drain OK?
Really hope it goes ahead. We've been lucky with no postponements so far.

As to the game, will be delighted with a draw against the best team in W Yorks - having beaten the 2nd best last Sunday.

Hope ours is postponed.

If not, we will lose due to an avoidable individual error, we will then waste every foray forward we have with a terrible final ball. It's the same as every game we play.

Given the amount of snow still falling, there is the possibility of it being called off. Having not played for weeks, they’ll do their utmost to ensure it does go ahead, though.

RE: covers - I think the idea is to clear the bulk of snow and replace the frost covers with the waterproof one? However, clearing the snow this afternoon may prove to be a thankless task given the current forecast.

We’ll see.

I'm not bothered if we lose 5 nil Saturday I just want get through a game without anymore injuries. Seems like an opposition player could fart on us and our player would end up being out 3 months. Must be the most unluckiest side in the world.

Attack could be our best form of defence when we visit Stevenage as we’re down to just 2 defenders with COVID taking it’s toll again. Plenty of options elsewhere on the field though. Keith Hill will still have a selection headache as the players who came into the team against Leicesters kids all impressed.

Leyton haven't won any of their last 3 games against Morecambe.
Danny Johnson is Leyton's top scorer with 14 goals. Carlos Mendes Gomes has scored 7 times for Morecambe.
Morecambe have previously won 4 of 6 matches against Leyton.

You... you do this deliberately, right? Like in a “Mark-Cooper-using-quipping-about-Justin-Edinburgh’s-untimely-death-as-a-psychological-weapon” way?

Where have you heard about the just 2 defenders? Listened to Keith Hill's pre-match interview, which didn't suggest any new Covid cases. We had two on the field v Leicester, with Ellis and Hayde on the bench and the commentary said Peter Clarke was at the game and likely to be available for the weekend. We are going to have issues filling the full-back positions and I'd be concerned if we continued with Otis Khan as right-back in a game where he'd be under more pressure. Perhaps the answer is to play with wing-backs?

We played well v Leicester youngsters but they gave us too much room in the way a typical L2 side wouldn't. Ollie Banks probably MoM, but unsure I'd trust him away at Stevenage. I don't know which way the dice will fall when it comes to putting out a team for Saturday. We seem to draw quite often on trips to Broadhall Way and I wouldn't bet against that outcome on Saturday.

Nope, just copied it straight from Bet362 betting site. Same as for the rest.
Actually if Orient want an incentive to win, that might be the comment that does it.
Good luck on Saturday [ to both clubs ].

It was only a month ago that you last beat us. And on our most recent showing we've only got worse since.

Thanks for the correction.

I’m not using the Leicester game as a measuring stick as to where we’re at either. Should put a bit of confidence into us all going into the Stevenage game though as I don’t think we’ve had the results our performances have deserved since Christmas.
