We don't like it up us, and we do play lovely football. Both true

McGoldrick was definitely unlucky I've seen a few angles and it's not obvious either way , ref has to be certain , **** knows how he is from that position.

As for Mullin, give him this season due to the big injury. But will he come back better next season? At a higher level with better defenders. I wouldn't be confident. He was poor today, which surprised me. Used to be a big fan.
I didn’t say lovely football, it is easy on the eye but it must be immensely frustrating tapping the ball around the back four and keeper with 5 mins left.

Apart from a couple of games, that has been Mullin this season....he might not be the same again, or he may be at his level now, or previously, but it will be fair to judge him more next season.

He didn't allow it because he was 100% certain, had no doubt that it hit the arm. Even though his view was inferior to players from both sides.

But that's football, shit happens.
It’s doubtful he gives that if it doesn’t lead to a goal, in fact, he let a few similar/more obvious borderline calls go against your number 7 when he had a better view.

I still think it’s handball from what I’ve seen....through my Wrexham glasses.

Enjoyed yesterday, the rendition of Yma o hyd before the game, two good sides going at it, great atmosphere, nice of Wrexham fans to join in second half:)
I've watched the handball goal ten times and can't make my mind up, how the ref cannot allow it has me puzzled.
A Notts fan criticising a team's home atmosphere, if you can believe it!

McGoldrick controls and actually changes the direction of the ball with his arm. Also if a ref is unsure on the call it's better to not allow the goal. Had we scored that against you, you'd be livid that it was given.

Thought your home fans were brilliant second half, great atmosphere.
Draw would have been a fair result.
First half two great saves from your keeper, woodwork and you scored against the run of play.
Second half you blew us away First twenty minutes then we had your hole team pinned back in the last third rest of the game.

I mean let's be honest, half the away end are hammered while 3/4 of the hone end only have permission to go if they come home sober enough for family duties. Of course away fans are more up for it than home

You’re not bottlejobbing it lad, you’re just getting dicked repeatedly, what happened to never playing in league 2 again?

We're playing some fantastic football but we're just not getting the rub of the green.

Yes when behind with 5 mins to go but overall not really it's resulted in 65 goals this season and 117 last. Its been lovely since introduced..

Can you post the camera angle and replay that shows it clearly, ta

If the ref is unsure whether it's hit an arm or not then surely he can't give it?! You can't be unsure take a bit of a guess and then punish a player.

Just like if you aren't sure the ball has crossed the line for a goal you can't guess and give the goal. We've come out on the wrong side of two match result defining key moments. Deserved draws in both, but didn't get a point in either. That's ok, that's football. No point moaning about it for weeks. Certainly doubt we will write letters to the PGMOL.

Does anybody know how long those ‘new manager bounces’ take to arrive, 13 games in now so surely it must be soon?

Didn't it come immediately for you, just that it only lasted for 45 minutes at MK Dons?

Saw a vid of, I think, Mansfield v Walsall. The ball was well over the line, not even close. Haven’t ref’s, even here in the basement, have goal line technology.

Yeah that looked definitely in to me.

Reynolds ordering ITV4 bosses not to show the disallowed goal in our game. That's the sort of power the man has got.

Arduous stuff with us at the moment. We can just never get a consistent team out on the pitch. The only time we have done is during the long winning run we went on.

Only way we're going up is if we start grinding wins out but very hard to do that with shite defending from makeshift back fours.

You're as bad as we were in L1 ffs. You'll do well to beat our points tally.

Just need to get Big Dunc in to finish the job.

I mean we didn’t get the rub of the green yesterday, (obv did tuesday) that’s how things work sometimes. you can’t not get the rub of the green over a whole season without factoring in some fundamental flaws within the team.

Had no idea they'd signed Doug Tharme at the back. Lad is a NLN or Welsh Prem standard player.

You have the points advantage, I don't see you losing that. There's enough shite teams left to play for you to pick the points you need up. Still think we'll both go into that last game promoted.

Genuinely don’t think I’ve ever seen you be optimistic about Tranmere. Very very strange. Bet you’re gutted with that result today!

Anyway… Always next weekend to get beat off FGR eh

*Side note… Tranmere were brilliant v top of the league and it could have been more. Night and day compared to Tuesday’s collapse v Morecambe
Years of experience have taught me not to be optimistic about Rovers. Hindsight’s a wonderful thing, but I’m guessing that you weren’t that confident about the outcome pre-match either, as you didn’t post about going to beat Stockport before the game? Accept that the SWA is a broad church, there’s no reason that I wouldn’t be delighted with the win, even if unable to be present. The highlights show some real quality in our attacking play, although the pivotal moment arguably a great save from McGee just after h/t when we were only one goal up

FGR next, no idea but the game becomes less significant because of Saturdays results.

Finally a nice stat to share, after yesterday’s goal, Connor Jennings currently has scored more in L2 this season than Paul Mullin.

I don’t think so, as recall a big thing made when it was used in the L2 play-offs to confirm Ollie Banks shot onto the bar v FGR had then crossed the line.

It was well over, but heyho.

No doubt would’ve been given the other way

It was our own fault, as said before ironic after tuesday we should’ve been out of sight by halftime, missed 3/4 sitters one on ones.

We should've beaten Morecambe yesterday. We just lacked that cutting edge. Obviously selling Al Hamadi has not helped. Morecambe just stayed in the game and they probably see it as a point well earnt. We still might make the play offs this season but I'd see next season as the time when we will push for promotion. The nucleus of the team is in place for next season .

I don't need to when you can give them tips on how to do a bottlejob. The yearly Mansfield bottlejob.

Must be my failing eyesight, but I’m so relieved that on second glance that says ‘bottlejob’.

That’s all styles of football though isn’t it. That part of it is frustrating, but there’s also long spells where it’s great.

Same with your style - when you’ve got a team under pressure and penned in with the high tempo stuff it’s fantastic to watch, like the first 15 mins of the second half. The first 20 mins or so of the first half is the opposite, when you barely had a touch of the ball at home, were just launching it back to us and should really have been 2-0 down. Be boring if we all played the same.

We weren’t good enough yesterday. That sounds familiar enough.

Thank God we’ve got Stockpot next so we can get 3 points!
