Tough game at Wimbledon as they are playing well at the moment. So are we though so I'm quite interested in those 7/4 odds.

Had a good, even tussle with them at Fratton only a few weeks back, settled by a late Harness winner. The game could have gone either way though. Shouldn't be more than one goal in it again.

Mk dons at home. We will lose 1-0. It’s written in the stars. The game will be awful. It will drizzle and be cold. Both sides will be dogshit.
Think I will go Christmas shopping.

We seem to be bumbling our way through games and like England down under are only two balls away from a collapse, CTFC are two passes away from conceding. A game we should win but at the moment will take a draw.

WE'VE SCORED A GOAL!

Just another game to chalk off until we limp to January.

Hopefully Jackson is back, because a RB at CB and CM at RB is ok for the odd game but doesn't want to happen too frequently.

I think Eyoma will be back after his red card at Crewe? I doubt that was a three game red.

Our nice easy run continues with a game Vs. Rotherham. We've continued to play well in this spell but have been undone by either a lack of quality in defensive moments or a moment of quality from the opposition.

We'll give Rotherham a tough game again but we'll need to stop gifting goals if we're to get anything out if it.

Oxford away, our last tough game before a long run of easier fixtures on paper. Would take a point, but we're always more dangerous away when sides try and take more risks against us.

Those odds for a home win look good.

We are 20 games unbeaten and it's got to end sometime.

We've not been at our best the last 3 games but we somehow got the the points against Burton and Gillingham and scraped past Stockport in the FA cup.

Sooner or later we will get beaten but I hope it's not on Saturday because we are going for the weekend and it'll spoil Saturday night and Sunday.

Cambridge battled well at NYS the other week and played some decent stuff at times.
I'd willingly settle for a point.

Fatty has been getting morale up by saying in the local press that only 3 or 4 players are good enough.
He also said that he is fine but he is “only as good as the troops he has”.
They are your fucking troops Evans!

I’m all for giving Evans stick, and rightly so, but the current mess we’re in is not entirely of his own making. He’s tried everything else so he may as well call them shit publicly, see if that works.

Oxford away, will be tough but we seem to keep grinding results out at the minute. Last time I traveled to Oxford the Saturday before Christmas we won 7-0. I think I'd be ok with that again. Think that was 2017.

That was under the catastrophic half a season of Pep Clotet's "management" and a real low point. Can't believe how quickly one useless manager undid all of the good work that Michael Appleton did before him, and it took Karl Robinson about a year and a half to put it right.

You'll find us a very very different proposition this time.

Well a trip across the Bay for this weekends match against Morecambe. They have had some excellent results in the early part of the season and I really hope they are in league 1 next season. However business is business and a match that neither side want to lose. Fleetwood have had 2 good results courtesy of our outstanding bunch of academy players. Still missing our key midfield of Batty/Camps/Rossiter, Holgate still out, no J.Garner and Pilkington. Bearing in mind our 2 main full backs were ruled out for the whole of the season before the end of August, it has been a nightmare, all the more credit to the structure which has been put in place in our academy, and which undoubtedly is paying dividends
A draw won't be a bad result, but with confidence high, thoughts are for something better

There are some great odds there. Wycombe at 2/1 looks good value. I'd say Pompey at 7/4 looks long also. I'd throw in Sunderland at 7/4 and Charlton at 11/5 too.

Rotherham have been very backable with a -1 handicap recently.

Don't back us on Saturday.
We are led to believe Trevor Kettle is to referee us at Cambridge.

We have history with Mr Kettle and none of it is good.

Ah well the 20 game run had to end sometime, it's the 3 game bans from the sendings off that worry me most.

How is he still refereeing?

Doesn't everybody have history with the inept Mr Kettle?

There's a ref watch thread in the L2 section. No surprise that the whistling Kettle features prominently as the shittest ref, along with the likes of Sarginson and other n'er do wells. But, yeah, unbelieveable he's still reffing :-(

I sense yours won’t be the last sadly. There’s gonna be loads off over Christmas based on current infection numbers.

Nightmare with the current fixture backlog.

Genuine question, does anyone know why the season ends so early this year? Doesn't even get into May. World Cup is only played in the middle of next year, I know next season starts slightly earlier but just seems daft.

Stated reason is so that next season can start in July to accommodate the World Cup - just a Championship issue really.

World Cup is in November- December next year due to the competition being sold, sorry, allocated to Qatar.

Ours is off now, cases in the Donny squad.
I don't think either side will have too many complaints about that!

Tuesday night game now, though, but I rarely get to them!
