Massive win for us not that it actually matters anyway. Went ahead and looked pretty comfortable in the first-half - DSY scored his fourth goal in three games. Sutton came out quickly in the second half and deservedly equalised although their goal came from our defender's clearance hitting one of their players and going in. They were all over us but Hill made substitutions which worked this time and Ugwu got the winner.

That result has ruined Sutton's season, as we make Surrey OURS once again. They've spent considerably more than money than us, building up to the big moment of their season yet they didn't turn up in their cup final.

First of the snookers you needed. But don't Wimbledon rule Surrey?

With Chris now gone, this forum might lose another one of its best posters if Woking get relegated.

What did you reckon to Tilt FGRJC? Just read out forum and he's getting slated whereas I thought he was pretty good.

I thought he looked solid enough, never really troubled, I think the one mistake I saw from him was when he pushed a NF player off the ball and tried a back hell pass to Kelly..

I think the main reason we lost today was selection, we underestimated NF, showed them no respect and they rightfully beat us. Cooper is a lunatic. If we didn't have doidge and Noble I really wonder where we would be...

5-3 on aggregate young man. Get back in our shadow, which is your historical place. Oh, and our budgets are very similar. (Ours is £300,000 or so - our lack of strength in depth is a problem. And there's a reason why we've had a high turnover of players).

As for the game, it was a case of crap v crap. Awful game with 3 pathetic goals given away. We've lost to North Ferriby and Woking away, and drew away at Southport.

BW 2-4 Macc. thoroughly deserved. My second turn out this season, the first being when we turned over Tranmere NYD. The next one is likely to be the FA trophy final so hoping that will be 3 in 3 :cool1:

Easy as you like, could have been 4 or 5. Solihull were the worst side I've seen this season.
In Kundai Benyu I believe we have the best player in this league, so so so glad we've got him until the end of th season, ran th game again today.
Anyway, enough about us, where's Chris?
Quite right, we were awful and teams below us winning. The players we signed from the Evo Stik who have looked so good over the last few months have lost form completely. We hardly made a chance all game today. Probably only need four more points but I can't see us getting a win.

Earlier this season I was hoping we would be going into the last few matches with nothing to play for. It looks like that's what will happen but not the way I wanted it! Guiseley were the better side today, and I can't remember us having a meaningful shot on target.

This season is done for us, our next challenge is to try to persuade our stubborn dinosaur of a chairman to step aside, his approach to manager recruitment and retention over the past few years has lead to where we are today and doesn't bode well for our future.

To be fair you were the better team 1st half and created the better chances, hitting the bar or Maxted tipping it onto the bar. You had sustained pressure with balls into our box and one header cleared off the line. We did our usual defend deep and look to hit on the break which we managed only a handful of times without success. Second half i thought we were the better team and took one of a number of chances. A cracking finish from Hurst.
Quite a nervy, scrappy game from two worried teams really.

We may have edged the first half but you rarely looked troubled by us. Once you got into your stride it was easy to see why you've pulled away from the relegation scrap.

If you would ever so kindly go to pieces and come down with us I would be very grateful, the more local away games I can get next season the better!

Great finish from Knott for the goal but apart from that we just huffed and puffed against a Bromley who stopped us playing and we struggled to work out a way to break them down. Poor penalty from Power tried to place it.
Still plenty on the bandwagon for an 11th successive home game, onto Monday and fingers crossed we play a hell of lot better.

You called? Yes we were shit today. Happy now?

I've made myself look a tit again. I'll look even more of a tit soon, or should that say twat. Good times.

And yes I will be leaving this forum soon, not cos I'm a bottler but because I'll be out of work and not able to afford any sort of web access, given my appearance will make me unemployable.

Well played NFU.

Come back tomorrow when you've sobered up please, something I learnt from the whole GTFC1979 experience.

Yes, you won't win the title, but you still have a chance of promotion. I could rub the whole twattish pre-season bullshit in your face, but I'll choose not to. You've had a shocker today but stick at it.

Fair to say Eastleigh were somewhat on the beach, or on their arses at the very least. Don't think I've seen a team turn up with over five games of the season still to go and put in such an abysmal and uncaring performance.

Still, cheers for the three points chaps.

What Murphy said Eastleigh were abysmal. I was somewhat surprised given their form was decent. We got at them from the off and it could have been a much higher scoreline. We took it easy on them second half with substitutions for Tomorrow's match at Lincoln.

Oh, you haven't left. Does this mean we get to call you 'Twat' now without being banned by 'DSL'?
