Steve Cotterill returns to Whaddon Road for the first time in a competitive capacity since leaving in 2002.

He's bound to get a rousing reception, and it will be great to see Michael Duff up against one of his mentors.

Ultimately, this is a game we should be looking to win. Doncaster aside, we've been playing quite well recently and our home record is decent.

2-1 to the Robins

Well we were supposed to have Okenhibirie, Taylor and John back to face Lincoln but again they are missing, really starting to wonder about the medical staff and facilities we have, it must be frustrating for RW. No idea if anyone else has stubbed a toe, got a paper cut etc, if we are lucky we might scrape a draw.

Definitely no Walsh or Hopper for us. Jackson should be back after concussion but question marks over Scully and Bridcutt.

We don't concede many, but equally don't score many either. We're really struggling in the final third of the pitch this season, it's just not happening at all, but a big contributory factor to that is our front four of last season are no longer available and we're having to dig in until January to sort it out after a frustrating summer window in attacking areas.

Home to Wimbledon. First time for a while that I've gone to a game with a reasonable level of confidence. We've looked more solid at the back in recent weeks.

Backup keeper Bass, who had an excellent game last week, will likely unluckily lose his place to Bazunu who is back from Ireland duties. Morrell is back from Wales to boost numbers in midfield. George Hirst is set to continue up front as Marquis is still injured. Hirst has finally started to perform so it will be good to see him get a run of games.

1-0 win. My first win prediction for a long time.

I think we have about 8 or 9 senior players fit for the weekend against Crewe (we asked the ref to clarify last night if we could bring our reserve keeper on in an outfield position should we need to). The rest of the team and subs will be made up of youth players, who have done very well, but by Evans own admission shouldn’t be playing regular first team football yet.

Seems like a good time to be playing Sunderland. We're playing well in the league and close to full strength, with the possible exception of no Kane Vincent Young at RB.

1-3 Ipswich.

Tough game away to Charlton. They’ve done a ticket offer for this game so it should be a big crowd, we’ll have about 3k Pilgrims there. They’ve picked up recently since Nigel Adkins has left. I’d probably take a point. Although they are struggling numbers wise in defence which could swing the balance in our favour. Expecting a tight game!

Yeah I expect we’ll lose, Trevor Kettle did bit of a number on us at the weekend so we’re a bit short.

Was really hoping I could go given I had a model of The Valley when I was a kid and went there a lot, but family plans got changed.

Will be a tough test. Are we the real deal? Dunno, but the next league games will tell: Charlton (A), Wycombe (H), Wigan (H), Mk Dons (A), Sunderland (A), Charlton (H). That's hell of a bunch of games that may well determine our season.

Scully and Bridcutt available, which is a massive boost. They'll be a bit rusty after a month or so out but we'll be stronger for having them back in.

If you come through that lot with a reasonable return you are certainly in a good position. Of course with any team that plays football rather than hoofball, the winter months, bad pitches and injuries could have more of a points toll than the oppositin being good.

I wouldn’t worry with the amount of injuries we have we will be playing our youth team mainly

We also have quite a few out Ramsay, Johnson, Daniels, Ainley, J'neil Bennett and Robertson. Added to the fact were absolutely woeful anyway, you could probably turn up with your kit man, groundsman and tea lady and still get a result vs us.

Crewe 0-2 Gillingham (Akinde 2) 3,655 (300 Gills)

A proper Lancashire derby against the team from across the bay. Both teams struggling, poor results and steadily dropping down the table. Morecambe will score, the trick is for us to get one or two more. Working on the principle Fleetwood are overdue a win, an entertaining game with the Cods coming out winners 3-2 ( PLEASE )

The wise people of the Internet are blaming the manager for letting Harry Anderson leave...
I mean there was a string of championship and league one clubs queueing up wasn't there?
Dear me! Liked the lad but some comments are proper head scratchers.

Tbh ive got too much on. Even if it is an hour down the road. We are at home 3 or the next 4 saturdays ahead of Christmas and ive pencilled in Cheltenham as a new ground as well. Been to Donny too many times - will be spending the day out with the partner instead.

easy tiger. we're on a blip - one win in eight (in all competitions) and have gone three games without scoring. This game is far from a foregone conclusion.

I never want players to get injured, but if you could get a couple sent off that would be very handy for Tuesday night. Ta.

Akin Famewo now available after his yellow card last weekend has been reattributed to Ben Purrington on grounds of mistaken identity

One is a white bloke, one is a black bloke. Easy mistake for Trevor Kettle to make.
