Short memories up the m5. I bolded the relevant area lol
What are you going on about?
I mean I posted a picture and explained why Gassy got to his stupid figure. Gassy is claiming 700 people (the exact number of seats that the police made us use as segregation) is people who decided not to turn up because umm, the weather or summant. Granted I'm wrong on a lot (nearly as much as you) but come on, this isnt something even a 4 year old that hasn't gone to school yet couldn't understand.
You sold our your initial allocation and asked for more. You were given more and didn't use them and RETURNED them. Christ. Your argument is 'but over 20% decided not to come' - do you understand how attendances are counted? Like with ST, pre purchased tickets are included before anything. You couldve turned up with zero and it would say you had fans at SJP. You. Did. Not. Sell. Out. The tickets are probably still in our reception/ ticket office that you returned !!

Glad you agree with the 448 seats. Over half of your claim is now by your own admission, nonsense. Now do the same for what was known as the flybe stand on the other side.

This is really frustrating because I have so many Rovers mates but bloody hell you're something special.
Do you actually read posts, or just regurgitate whatever comes to your mind at that moment? It's pretty astonishing how you fail to grasp basic mathematics and english.

Firstly, there is nothing to agree with 448 seats, if you read the post again you'll notice I said that Block A has 448 seats of which 60% are filled. Therefore that leaves 40% of block A empty, which is 179 seats. You want to quote your own photo, go look back at it, it isn't the entirety of block A used as segregation.

Therefore, by your own admittance of maths, you're wrong. Can you actually understand that, or is it too complex for you? Its astonishing that I seem to understand and know your own stadium better than yourself.

Secondly, ticket sales differ from ST holders. If that were the case then Man Utd would have 77,00 at every game. But they don't, do they?

If you were at least a WUM, I'd be amused but the issue is you actually believe all this. In this series of posts we've managed to work out that you can't count, you can't read, and you can't recognise your own stadium.

Imagine a life so sad, that you've spent your afternoon getting batted all over the place by myself and others, all over Bristol Rovers' size and away attendance.

Get out of it. It was just huge uncovered terraces. Granted most stadia were shite as well, but Eastville has never been decent. Been there for the football and dogs a fair bit.
Three sides covered. Flowerbeds behind the goal. 40 k capacity. ( 39k versus Preston ) I've been in there with 37k. Did you go in there before 1972 ?

I dont know how many times you need to be told. Attendance means nothing when it comes to ticketing. You were given 1300 tickets and sold 1050 and RETURNED 250 to our office. The idea that you think over 20% of your fans didn't turn up is seriously ridiculous.

Oldham are definitely bigger than you. It's not even questionable in my mind. We will agree to disagree re Northampton and Walsall. Opinions, innit. But I stand by the premise that you are nothing special in this league and teams don't think you are a cup final. You're Bristol Rovers. Bristol City would struggle with that argument ffs.
There you go -- I told you you were deluded.

I think 1981 was the first time I went when we won 4-1. Think there was a 10-12 year gap before that where we didn’t play each other.

The reality is, we haven’t averaged less than 8,200 in 26 years. We’ve hardly had any success, other than during the Phil Parkinson era.
We also sold 9k last year even though none of us could attend. In the meantime Firthy, you and I really must apologise for interloping on this Exeter/BR thread.

That explains it why you never ever saw Eastville at its finest then. To be fair by 1981 it was very run down. As a fan from the very early 60's it was awful to see. But take my word it was once a bloody tidy stadium. The Muller road end once held over 15k before the speedway.

Are you suggesting you didn't return 250 tickets?
DL, Bradford will have taken more to Exeter than Exeter will bring for the return game. Can a poster not connected to Exeter or Bradford let us know if they give a toss. PLEASE.

Absolutely right they will. Although we might do a Rovers and claim we sell out when we return our tickets.

If you just wanna talk about your own club and aren't interested in other L2 teams then head to your own forum and not the L2 forum buddy :)

The argument arose when Rovers thought they were something special for this league. I challenge that argument as its based on drivel. If you don't like it, do what most posters do and add me to your ignore. That way my posts won't clutter the L2 forum for you and you can just read your own clubs posts.

My apologies, I hadn't realised that 2 old women bickering about what one sees as the crime of the century would enlighten me about league 2. Bet you and your chums at the con club are a barrel of laughs; sipping your champagne and discussing how the grasping working class are wrecking the commonwealth.

Blimey, L2 sides boasting about being the bigger side in the division is akin to a midget bragging about his 3 inch manhood
