We've definitely got a target on our backs. The run is incredible, especially as at the disappointing tail end of last season it even went unnoticed by us.

Not sure where everyone is based. I'm in West Yorks and we've taken a battering with the rain in the past 24 hours. Not sure how Fleetwood have coped. Can imagine a few P-P's this weekend.

Although you deserved a draw it really should have been ended on the opening day of the season but for that injury time goal

Portsmouth away.
Highly unlikely but not impossible we'll pick up point(s).
Sort of games where you need your "battlers".
Over to messrs Mellish, Lavelle and Joe Garner.

Yeah it's a strange feeling. Realistically we have to be picking up 7 points from our next three games to take the undefeated streak to 26.

Then comes Charlton at home, and we all know what happens there...

Not the first time we've done it, though. Got a deserved equaliser at the death at Derby and a deserved winner at the death at home to Wycombe too. This team doesn't give up.

I have to admit ive seen many of your goals pop up deep into injury time and thought 'jammy bastards' but yeah like you say you earn it

What's a last minute goal?

In fact, what's a goal?

Well done to Portsmouth manager John Mousinho on winning manager of the month!

Top of the league and on a 23 match unbeaten run is outstanding, next up for them is lowly Carlisle United at home who they will be expected to beat.

Pompey have caught much attention thanks to their incredible run, can they make it 24 unbeaten?

We're playing in our white away kit tomorrow at home as Barnsley lost their away kit they would've used in the fire incident with their coach a few weeks back.

Rumour has it we'll have a striker in our squad today!!!!! Jack Vale returned to us a week or so ago after injury.

Can't imagine we'll see any surprises in team selection or formation today, I doubt Tom Shaw will want to rock the boat too much and ultimately, we can't magic up attacking players anyway.

Difficult to imagine we'll be as bad as last week, so that's a plus!

Travel conditions sound horrific so I suspect some away attendances will be down today.

Yes, it's all set up for you isn't it. All runs come to an end.

However, the two-week break means our squad is in better shape now than it has been for a while. Yengi is back available again so we're not so reliant on Bishop. Connor Ogilvie is also fit again to fight it out for the left back spot with the impressive Jack Sparkes. Key players Poole and Robertson are both back from suspension. Marlon Pack is the only certain starter who is still injured.

Mousinho was lamenting the fact that he will have to tell three players who have all done well this season that they won't even make the squad. Nice problem to have, obviously.

So to summarise, nothing can possibly go wrong.

thought Carlisle had no chance here at all at Portsmouth until that mention they are 23 games unbeaten.

Carlisle have at Times had a knack to end unbeaten runs and also a knack of giving sides a chance to end winless runs

I’m honestly struggling to recall a single time we’ve done this.

Ending Leeds unbeaten start to the season in 07/08 is the only one I can think of.

If anything, we have way more of a knack of ending winless runs other clubs are on. :ffs:

Uche on the bench and a striker starting in Ryan Loft! Give them half each.

WE HAVE A STRIKER ON THE BENCH!

Looks the same system for us with two CM's in the front three. Unless we've gone 3-6-1 with a diamond midfield but can't imagine we've changed that at such short notice.

Thoroughly outclassed at Bolton so far. No attacking options on the bench, threadbare

Sounds like we pushed hard second half but fell just short. Lack of attacking options killing us as predicted.

That’s why we’re going down.

Played well second half, wasted our own chances and then concede a crap goal from our point of view. A free fucking header in the 93rd minute. It’s amateur stuff.

Solid point and stops the losing run at a tough place, sounds like plenty of the ball but still no end product but 45 mins in the tank for Uche and Loft will only benefit us.

Sounds like Stevenage were quite physical and we’ve had to stand up to that so will take that. Need to win one of the two home games now though.

You said you would not let yourself get down if we got relegated this season because you're so happy for us to be in L1 regardless of how we do.

So lighten up, we're still a football league club mate.

0-0 with Port Vale, a drab game to match the weather. Vale started both halves better and certainly seemed to get to grips with the conditions quicker than we did. I think we were really lucky not to concede a penalty in the first half but maybe could have had one of our own later in the half. We had a great chance to win the game in the second half, caught one of the Vale players on the ball and it was fed to Reid whose effort was saved at point blank range, one on one with the goalkeeper.

Poor game, low on entertainment, not sure if either side really did enough to win the game, fair result.

I suspect Liam Manning will be very unhappy with that second half performance. It was unacceptable. That game should have been managed far, far better. It reminded me of Port Vale at home. A silly kamikaze performance second half that just didn’t need to be played out the way it did.

It should have been comfortable. A switch to five at the back when the game didn’t need it didn’t help but most importantly and for the first time this season the substitutes escalated the turning point. The least you expect when up against it is to press and cover ground. They failed and it cost us the game.
Cameron Brannagan was a big miss. McEachran just can’t do what he does and we lacked his energy today.

Credit to Blackpool for plugging away though. They really offered nothing until the 70th minute (I think their first shot was near 60th minute). I hadn’t realised Karamoko Dembele played for them! He looked excellent when he came on.

Yeah I wont be as down as I would be about going out of the football league, but it doesn’t mean I’m going to be jumping for joy at returning to League 2. I still want to stay up but sadly that’s looking an almost impossible task with this ineffective team of ours.

No way will you go down playing like that. We missed some chances in the first half, but you finished strongly and almost won it near the end.

It's weird how we keep finding crucial late goals, but the team just believe that it's going to come.

Well our form has absolutely plummeted. Initially it was a strong start but has since turned into our second worst winless run in the last three seasons.

Seemed directionless today.

What next for us? Who knows.
