MK Dons keeper was letting those goals in yesterday. His bank account needs checking this morning.

One for the morality police but arguably stealing another club’s place in the EFL is as bad, if not worse as buying your way in. So remarkably shit would be a fair description for the Milton Keynes travelling support.
Only 2 bites, disappointed. Especially with you Boz.

Our support is shite but never as shite as the likes of Salford etc. We don’t take sub 100/150 followings anymore. Note anymore, because we did regularly when we first started out twenty years ago.

Safe to say the Morecambe keeper had a Mair with that long range Gills goal.
Aye, just seen that. Although some would argue he didn't see it with the sun in his eyes...? The shot went quite high then dipped in so credit to the Gills lad having a pop from there under all that defensive pressure.

I've watched Notts for comfortably more than 3 decades and I can't ever remember a team moaning and complaining to the officials or just in general than Salford yesterday. Moaned if they were fouled, moaned if they thought they were fouled, moaned if they were penalised for fouling. It was without doubt a collective effort well supported by the assistant manager , and it was very impressive.

Lots of Hufflepuff
Were exactly the same against us.

It was more like a wrestling match than a football match but they were incredulous when we didn’t just let them bully us. Game was a farce.

Nice to see the Cowleys haven’t changed at all. Jumped up Sunday league twats them pair. They love it but they get right under your skin with their wank tactics and the sportsmanship makes Gareth Ainsworth sides look like a team of angels.

Nothing against Colchester but I’d love it if those pair of anti football c*** got relegated.

Now that’s out me system I’m over it

Nigel Clough is similar in my opinion.

They tried that against us too, though they kinda gave up at it when the 4th went in

Yeah but you’re the softest team in the history of League 2
I don't think we're soft. We're top of the disciplinary table if that constitutes "soft" fair enough but our style hasn't served us too bad over the last 2 and a half years under DC.

Soft maybe wrong but you’re fans spent a month crying after our game at your place, a game which you committed more fouls in by the way. Either way I’m not arsed about a side being dirty, it’s the time wasting and feigning injuries that the Cowleys have their sides doing that get my back up. No surprrise it comes at a time when the other team are getting on top. The little signal to some drip on their bench to go and tell the keeper to go down, embarrassing that the refs let them get away with it week in week out.

I’d rather have Graham Alexander ball here than watch them pair

Twice Cowley got his players to do the fake injury ploy for a team talk, at convenient times. Like I say he’s just a Steve Evans on a calorie deficit, except the latter is better.

Clough plays attractive football and we are on course to be highest goal scorers two years on trot, to our own detriment at times we never settle for a point.

Clough said yesterday was a good point for you. I don't particularly disagree with him tbf. Every point we can all get is massive.

On the game itself it was a dreadful point, but your win made it invaluable.

3 wins from 7 (2 wins 3 draws) takes us to 81, basically 82 with GD.

MK would need 15 points from those 6 to get to that.

We got 2 injuries from that game from bad tackles from your players and another that was self inflicted with Knoyles head injury. I was pissed off with Clough during that head injury though, I was in the stand behind the dugout and whilst Knoyle down with a very serious head injury (he's only due to return next few weeks 3 months later after a minor bleed on the brain) he and that bald assistant were badgering the referee for the full 8 minute delay. Clough admitted after he knew he was bad because he said his players told him.

He went down in my estimation that day, not that he'd care what a random Stockport Counry fan thinks. Just my opinion.

I agree with him too, once we went one down against a side like that I think you can consider it a good point.

But we went for a win, if we was 1-1 at Wrexham with 10 to go we will still go for it.

In Mansfield's position top of the table the manager has to spin a clearly disappointing result into a positive.

Standard practice from an established manager.

It was a good point in the end with MK losing. Had they won then it would’ve been different

Yep, and they've all bought into it. Fair play they are on board over there with the manager.

A draw at home to third bottom when you're top of the league is 2 points dropped and can never be a good point unless you've had a man sent off early on or something. It's not the end of the world though, they are still in a great position to win the league from here.

The fans aren’t stupid, of course we know we should’ve won, and it’s disappointing, however had you offered us the scenario where we were a point further from 4th at the end of the day we’d have bit your hand off.

not overly dissimilar when you only drew with harrogate a few weeks after we put 9 past them, a poor result also, but MK lost and you gained a point.

We’ve had a fair few poor results at home to sides down there, but that’s football - can’t beat bottom of the league sutton at home yet can do the double over stockport etc.

Salford were a niggly dirtyish sort of team but deserved the win. They were strong and efficient, proper L2 standard outfit on the day. We're lightweight and the manager didn't help with the formation in the first half out to g the EFL top assist player on the wrong side of the pitch. He's tried it three or four times and it's never worked.
We need to upgrade the centre halves and keeper for next season and unless he improves them probably the manager too.

We’re just soft as shit, need some players to come and shake up the mentality of that group completely.

Latest in a long line of games this year that have had a similar pattern - we didn’t play great but there wasn’t much in it and we probably edged it over 90, but we are just completely incapable of grinding out a win in a tight game. Haven’t won a game by a single goal since Gillingham back in October, and we still haven’t won a game 1-0 all season. Either it’s easy and we win by three or four, or we lose. Never going to have a successful season like that.

A bit of infighting going on through the automatic promotion certainties it seems. Only adds to the pressure. Maybe enough pressure that a team currently within 4th-6th could grasp the chance to capitalise and see themselves in League One next season. Maybe Barrow?

People always ask how the world class players would fare in a cold, Tuesday night in Stoke. Has anyone asked how Stoke would fare in a cold, Tuesday night in Barrow?

Oh yeah I’ve got a bone to pick with the Wrexham fans on here, you’re always saying how when that Sloth lookalike starts for you it’s like you’re throwing the game, so I looked at the line ups on Saturday and saw that he was starting for you, and added to the fact that we always beat you here so I really fancied a result, then before we know it we’re fucking 3-0 down.
Lying c***.

He's been alright for the last few weeks to be fair. Stopped getting sent off every time he played.

Perfectly reasonable considering the circumstances and how it played out.

Clough was interviewed before the other L2 games involving rivals was played right?

As stated it's standard practice from a experienced manager in the top 3. Keep things rightly positive after a poor result.
